Brand new cabin on Gallatin River w/ access to fly fishing
Nestled on the serene banks of the Gallatin River, this newly built cabin offers a cozy and charming escape in the heart of nature. Perfect for fly fishing enthusiasts looking for a peaceful place to rest after a long day of adventures.
The cabin features an open-concept living area seamlessly blending the living room, dining room, and kitchen into a warm and inviting space. The kitchen has brand new appliances for all your cooking needs, including a microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, with a dining area that fits four of your family and friends. The primary bedroom has gorgeous river views to lull you to sleep. Head up to the loft that features two double beds, providing a comfortable sleeping area for guests or family members. This cabin comfortably sleeps 6 people making it perfect for a getaway with friends or family! Whether you're here to fish, hike, or simply unwind, Gallatin River Retreat is your perfect home away from home.
Originally a dude ranch, Karst Camp was established in 1901 by Pete Karst. It was the gateway to Yellowstone National Park for early tourists. The camp, known as Karst Stage Stop Inn, saw up to 600 tourists per summer with 25 guests cabins. In 1937, Pete built a towrope for skiers, which has since vanished, as well as a bar and brothel for local miners. Visitors can imagine the rugged conditions both residents and tourists must have had to endure to appreciate Yellowstone Country 100 years ago.
In the summer, you are just minutes from exceptional fly fishing, river rafting, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ziplining and more. Plus, the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only about 45 minutes away while following the historic HWY 191 along the scenic Gallatin River. Don't miss the free concerts, farmer's markets, and weekly special events throughout the summer!
