Home away from home in a new, quiet neighborhood

Incredible home away from home. Tucked in a lovely neighborhood with walking paths and convenient to anything you need- 5 min to costco, 15 minutes to campus in summer. We stayed here twice while my husband taught a summer course at A&M and were so happy with our experience. Stocked up with everything you need to stay comfortably. We weren’t traveling with children but there is a nice park just down the block. If we’re in town again we won’t hesitate to book here.

Long weekend in College Station

Found this great property to stay in during our recent trip to College Station for the NCAA softball regionals. The property appeared to be brand new, clean and well furnished, although the towels were a little used and dingy. The neighborhood was also new and felt very safe with well taken care of properties. My only complaint was the fact there were no instructions for working the TV. It was a great property and price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you, Kimberley, for the 10/10 review and for choosing Vivanta Retreat for your NCAA softball regionals trip! We’re so glad you found the home clean, well furnished, and that the neighborhood felt safe and well cared for. We also appreciate the feedback—since your stay we’ve upgraded our towel set and tightened our turnover checks to keep everything fresh for every guest. And we’ve added clear TV/remote instructions (plus quick support if anything is ever confusing). Thanks again for recommending us—we’d love to host you anytime you’re back in College Station!

Points faibles : Communication

Great House - Poor to No Communication with Host/Manager

It was clean, enough room for 4 people and then some, great appliances. NO communication back from host. Asked us to put out garbage 1 hour before it needed to be put out for the next morning, asked for a larger "heads up" if we needed to do anything prior to us leaving as we were leaving early the day we left, didn't say a word until it was time for us to be out of there, and we were already 3 hours away. No manual for the home, and we had a quesiton about parking, they NEVER responded to any questions we had. Nice place, but communication was non existent, or respectful of our time there.

Thank you, Mary, for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the home itself, including the cleanliness, space, and appliances. We sincerely apologize that communication during your stay did not meet expectations. That is not the experience we aim to provide, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Since your stay, we have made improvements to our communication process, including clearer pre-arrival instructions, a digital house guide, and faster response protocols to ensure guests receive timely support throughout their visit. We value all guest feedback, as it helps us continue improving, and we appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns.
