Bienvenue à Plum Island! Venez vous détendre dans notre chalet qui se trouve dans une rue sans issue tranquille. Suivez le chemin de 250 marches jusqu'à la plage; s'asseoir, nager, marcher, pêcher, regarder et écouter le surf, méditer, beachcomb, stargaze, inhaler les ions médicinaux de l'océan. Si vous vous traînez hors de la plage, Newburyport, Cape Ann au sud et New Hampshire et Maine au nord vous attendent. Il y a des logements pour 6 personnes (un lit queen, un lit double et des lits superposés). Profitez de la grande terrasse pour vous reposer et lire ou cuisiner et dîner.

What a Gem!

This was the perfect vacation rental for my family of 4. I would agree with others when saying the house is even better then it looks in the pictures. We would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Plum Island Cottage

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute! The cottage was perfect for 4 adults. The beach wasn't that far away. I think it was less than 5 minutes.

Vacances parfaites à quelques pas de la plage !

Idéale pour notre famille de 6 personnes, 4 adultes et 2 enfants. La maison est super bien située à 2 minutes à pied de la plage de Plum Island. Malgré la mer qui est parfois très agitée et donc moins sécuritaire pour la baignade avec de jeunes enfants, la plage est super tranquille et l'air frais de la mer fait du bien. La maison était propre à notre arrivée et toutes les commodités incluses ont été grandement appréciées, de l'accès internet à la douche extérieure. Belle petite terrasse pour profiter des dîners au soleil. La ville de Newburyport étant à 10 minutes de voitures, cette maison est idéale pour demeurer près des services qu'offre la ville tout en étant à distance de marche de la mer et de la plage. Merci beaucoup pour ce magnifique séjour, nous y retournerons sans aucun doute pour des prochaines vacances en famille !

Newburyport getaway

The cottage was very comfortable, nice kitchen, wonderful location. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, the neighbors' gardens, walking the beach and around Newburyport.

Wonderful cottage

We couldn't have been happier with the cleanliness and location of this cottage. It is steps to the beach that we enjoyed beautiful sunrises. The cottage is equipped with everything that you need in the modern, open concept kitchen and living room. The welcome and communication with the property owners was also excellent. I highly recommend this cottage .

Great summer beach spot

This place was great, very close to the beach which was nice to have a short walk every day. The owner was very welcoming and even brought us a few extension cords when we asked if she had any. We had 3 adults and one 4 year old. The smallest bedroom is attached to the main bedroom which worked out for us.

Quiet getaway

The property had everything we needed as an extended family- parking, a grill, outdoor shower and a lovely open floor plan. With a short walk to either wild waves or calm waters for the children, we plan to visit again next year. The bunk bed room is very small, so plan accordingly.

Great weekend getaway

We had a very relaxing stay at the cottage , great location close to the beach . The owner was very friendly meeting us at check in and sharing some “local” knowledge . My only complaint was there were no pillows provided

Paradise Tucked Away

We arrived late at night and was our first time at this cabin .picture online was not as updated as it actually was ,,, comfy ,,,awesome bedroom layout for family traveling with multi-generations. Dunes and beach just a short walk on very quiet road,,,,loved the sea walls,,, close by to lots of history and attractions !!!! Would have loved the ability to use yard and a fire pit for chilly night would be the cherry on top !!! Overall excellent for cleanliness and proximity !!!!❤️❤️👍👍

Highly Recommend this adorable beachy cottage

This cottage is adorable and well decorated for a beach theme. Its clean and organized. The owner Mary met us at the house. She was quick to respond with all communication. The house is so close to several beach entrances. Remember you need to bring pillows towels sheets and all linens for your trip since the house doesn't provide them. In my opinion the house is better than it looks in the photos. Its really cute and nice. I would definitely rent here again. The little bunk bed room is connected to the bedroom with the queen so my son was near us which was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful beach house vacation

Great cottage steps from the Beach

Our family had a fabulous visit to PIum Island at the cottage. The home was adorable and perfect for our stay with our young children. Mary-Corrine , Shane’s Mother, met us upon arrival and was very welcoming. She was responsive when the toaster broke and delivered a new one to us the next day. The kids complained a little that the bunk bed wasn't the most comfortable, but all in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend and are already planning to book the property again when we come back next year.

Idyllic Spot!

We had a wonderful week on the island, enjoying the beach and Newburyport. The cottage is very clean and adorably decorated. We spent a ton of time just sitting out on the porch listening to the many different bird calls and enjoying the sun. The walk to the beach was a bit difficult for older folks, and I'd recommend wearing sneakers/shoes, not flip flops, as the sand can get extremely hot and it's a bit of a walk. Totally worth it for the privacy and location on the beach. I would also recommend bug spray for the beach and porch. Our favorite part was watching the newly hatched piping plover chicks learn to hunt at the water's edge - just amazing! Highly recommend this spot and will likely be returning next summer!

Wonderful location

A group of 3 friends booked this cabin near the beach. The location is perfect. The host is wonderful--she's a wealth of information and brought us fresh eggs and wine! The only negative is the bedrooms are in need of updating. The beds are very creaky; the room with the bunk bed was smaller than tiny and the bed was very uncomfortable. We still loved our time there!

End of the summer retreat

Lovely rental in amazing location

I had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The property owners made sure the rental was in excellent condition and they provided so many extra touches to make it welcoming- going above and beyond. The location is right next to the beach and it was so easy to get there. I can't wait to bring my family back because I think this set up is wonderful for adults and families with children. I loved exploring Plum Island and the neighboring center of Newburyport. This trip was everything I was hoping for and more!

It was a cozy cottage near the beach

I visited with two long time friends and wanted to show them the beauty of Plum Island. Mary-Corrine , Shane’s Mother met us and was wonderful. There were flowers on the table and a bottle of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, our favorites. She also dropped off two dozen fresh eggs from her farm for us. Delicious I highly recommend. We will return again and again in the future.
