West facing Waterfront Cottage w/private beach & buoy & dock access


Located on the beautiful Southern shore of Shuswap lake, the Blind Bay area is a wonderful spot for family vacations and romantic getaways. Boating, swimming and beach access are just some of the features you get when you rent this property. The cabin has a large covered patio (24 feet x 20 feet) facing west towards Copper Island and the magnificent sunsets. Both bedrooms have queen size beds with an additional double in one room, which looks over the water. Bunk room is close by for younger children. The owner lives on site and maintains property, allowing you to relax and enjoy your holiday. Enjoy the hot summer days & warm evenings on a spectacular deck while relaxing and enjoying the moment.

The large private beach and dock is shared, and renters have use of their own private buoy allowing for easy boat usage during the week.

The cabin is a nice place to stay on the lake that is quiet but close to the amenities of Blind bay. Great place to stay with the family.

Host is very responsive and hospitable. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, well equipped. The deck is great on a hot day and perfect place for our dogs to be out with us. A wonderful stay by the lake. We look forward to returning.

Amazing!

Thank you to Karen for a wonderful stay. She was so kind (even offering to help with a fire at the beach ) and the property was perfect. We hung out on the deck all day and looked out at the beautiful view. Would absolutely go stay again and bring some friends! Highly recommend this stay.

loved our stay!

We loved our stay! Such a great property with amazing views of the lake. Was a relaxing and rejuvenating week. Karen and Steve were such accommodating hosts. Really enjoyed the floating dock, and spent most nights watching the amazing sunsets from the oversized front covered deck. Plan to return next summer indeed.

Our family has been vacationing in BC's Okanagan and Shuswap areas for years and have always had a wonderful time. We love the lake and all of the year-round recreational opportunities. In 2011 we were able to realize a dream and purchase our own vacation home.

My husband & I love meeting people and providing an environment for families, friends and work associates to relax, sit back and enjoy! For more than ten years, we have been providing vacation rentals for people to enjoy our little piece of paradise.

We are an active family and enjoy the ability to hike, bike, ski, kayak and swim directly from our cabin.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Blind Bay and nearby Sorrento are great communities offering many amenities including some great local restaurants, pubs, cafes, ice cream vendors, fantastic bakery and grocery, and medical clinic.

There are a number of local businesses nearby that we enjoy touring such as the wineries and cheese factory. And it is a tradition for my family to go to the Enderby drive-in movie theatre at least once each year!

Additionally, we are near the larger centre of Salmon Arm for any must haves or forgotten items!

The cottage with it's large covered deck and private yard space, along with access to the beach and lake directly in front, and use of our private dock and buoy offers a wonderful space for family and friends vacations.
