Experience tranquility in this waterfront home with beautiful views!

This home is perfect for 2-8 people. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and A/C. The loft upstairs has 3 additional double beds and there is a second bathroom on the main floor. It is located outside the village, 10 minutes down a beach trail through the littoral forest, in the eco-friendly neighborhood of South Pointe. It is an off-grid property with beautiful views of the carribbean! A rain catchment system for your water and solar for your power. Here you will find the quiet side of the island where you will experience the ocean breezes, fireflies, gecko's, iguana's and all types of birds. It is the perfect place to spend time on the deck and watch the boats go by! We can also provide 2 bikes if requested.

Beautiful house and view, quiet location on the island. Heidi was amazingly helpful in checking in and answering questions. Master bedroom was nice with the AC. If the day was hot, the upstairs loft was hot, could use another fan! Definitely need to rent a cart in this location. Thank you so much, we loved staying at La casa Amarilla!

We had a fantastic stay: The house is absolutely beautiful with incredible views of the ocean. We loved the quiet and secluded atmosphere including lots of wildlife right around the house. Our communication and support from the property manager was excellent. Google Maps turned out to be an unreliable way to navigate from the airport, but Heidi helped us out. You will likely want a golf cart or to rent bicycles if you're looking for more exercise

We enjoyed our stay at the Caye Caulker waterfront home and found the house itself to be nice, clean, and well maintained, with truly spectacular ocean views. The owner was very communicative and responsive prior to our stay, which we appreciated. Finding the property was a bit challenging, as it is located a distance from town. Renting a golf cart was essential and ultimately very helpful. During our stay, it rained heavily, and the road leading to the house became extremely muddy with large puddles, which made arrival difficult and resulted in our luggage getting muddy on the first night. While the views are beautiful, there is no direct water access, as the nearby docks are privately owned. Because of this, and due to limited amenities at the house, we spent most of our time in town. The indoor common area was somewhat limited for group gathering and did not offer games or things to do. There were a few surprises that would have been helpful to know in advance. Solar electricity went out overnight, and the only flashlight provided did not work. There was no hot water, no soap or shampoo despite being listed, and very limited cooking supplies such as oil or seasonings. The oven was also not functioning during our stay. On a positive note, the host provided a trash bag on our last day, which was very helpful with mud. The home has four beds (one queen), & fifth guest is considered extra and charged accordingly. The hefty $3k dep is charged and not returned for weeks.
