Hi Dawn, So glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit! and I'm so sorry that we are expecting some major construction on site that we just recently found out about... that was the reason for your October booking to be canceled. we don't know when it's going to start, we're waiting for permits to be approved but there's a good chance it's starting sometime in October so I just felt it was the right thing to do rather than give you any more last minute notice! I sure hope you're able to come back and visit again after the construction!!

Thank you for your review, Sierra! Good to know you had a wonderful stay. The dusk closing is something new at our condo - we are disappointed too! It used to be open until 11:00. It is because of the turtle hatching season. All the lights had to be changed to not attract the turtles. So without bright lighting, pool safety was a concern.

The homeowner would like to address the following regarding your stay at Sandy Feet: - The odor you encountered was caused by a cracked toilet in the unit above, which was promptly addressed by maintenance and management once discovered. - The condo itself did not have any plumbing issues, and the ceiling in the main bathroom was cleaned the same day to ensure comfort. - Since no further concerns were communicated after the repair, we believed the issue was resolved; we’re sorry if you were expecting additional follow-up from our property manager. - Sandy Feet has earned hundreds of reviews over the years, most of them 5 stars, and we’ve had guests both before and after your stay without any similar concerns, which reinforces the quality we strive to maintain.
