Owner is lovely... went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Perfect place for two. Second shower outdoors was charming. Deck has a gas grille, a round table with umbrella, and stunning view of the water. Very idyllic and highly recommended.

Very Relaxing, great location!

Property was located in a very pleasing environment. Owner was very accomodating.Overall, the the house was very comfortable Both of us being in our early 70's, the inside stairs were challenging, especiailly since the bathroom was located downstairs, but the view of the bay from the upstairs bedroom was to die for! If the stairs were not a challenge we would stay again on our next visit! Thanks Suzanne for your hospitality!

Perfection!

We loved our stay and our host. Such a quiet location. I even saw 3 frolicking kits in the backyard! I loved being able to use herbs from the potager. We'll be back again next year.

Peaceful Retreat

The cottage sits on the banks of the Westport River, with a beautiful view. Suzanne was the perfect host- helpful and friendly. She also allowed us to use her kayaks on the river. We loved the location, as it was close to farm country, hiking, and the beach.

Peaceful Water View

Nirvana on Cadamons Neck Cove

We love this rental and host. Her transformation of this small boathouse into a cute 2 person cottage is perfect. Relaxing views of Cadamans Neck Cove from the porch and loft bedroom are so inviting for settling in with a good book. And to top it all off, the rental includes availability of kayaks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Cottage for two in heavenly location

This was our second visit to Suzanne’s cottage overlooking the East branch of the Westport River. As before, everything was perfect. Suzanne is a gracious host and has supplied the cottage with all the amenities one could want. We very much enjoyed using the two kayaks she provided and there was dry storage for bicycles under the cottage. We cannot wait to go back.

Lovely relaxing stay

Suzanne made us feel completely comfortable and ensured we had all we needed for our week in the boat house. Clean, nice linens and towels, super comfy bed, peaceful surroundings with beautiful view of the river, kayaks to explore the Westport River.!! A slice of Heaven, Rest and Relaxation!

Lovely cottage for 2 on the banks of the Westport River.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect for 2, with a beautiful view of the river from the bedroom and the front deck. Our host was warm and welcoming but not intrusive in any way. We thoroughly enjoyed our week watching the birds and boaters pass by and walking through the lovely neighborhoods.

Perfect home base

The "Boat House" was the perfect home base during a much needed get away to recharge our batteries. The stars at night, the quiet setting, and the view of the cove were exceptional. Can't wait to return.

Amazing, fabulous, peaceful, beautiful, tranquil, I could go on! Suzanne is beyond a wonderful host, not only was her cottage fanomanal but she was so helpful, sweet and inviting! Boat House Cottage in Westport MA

The cottage is a beautiful peaceful gem nestled among mature oaks on the Westport river and Suzanne, the owner and host extraordinaire, is also a gem! During my two week stay I enjoyed exploring the villages, vineyards, local shops and cafes, walking Allen’s Pond and Gooseberry Island, kayaking, enjoyed fresh local seafood al fresco, and of course sunrises and sunsets at the beach. Suzanne, the boat house cottage and Westport were all equally delightful!!

We were looking for a getaway from the city, and found the perfect spot. In a beautiful location on the water, The Boathouse is tastefully appointed and provided everything we needed and then some. Kayaks at the water's edge, storage for bicycles, and a lovely place to come home to after a day exploring nature and seashores. Great outdoor shower, even in October. We'll be back!

Great riverview cottage

We had a wonderful week on the Westport River in this cozy, charming cottage that has all the amenities, a great outdoor shower, and a lovely deck with an amazing view. Our host, Suzanne, was always available if needed, but gave us all the privacy we wanted. We enjoyed the location, with easy access to local beaches, the Vineyard, and Lee’s Market. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

Westport perfection

Suzanne’s property was one of the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. It was well appointed with stunning views of the river I could feel the stress of work melt away. During these unusual times the hospitality from Suzanne coupled with idyllic Westport has helped us cope with a rough year.

Fabulous Getaway!

We had a most wonderful getaway at Suzanne's 'Boat House'. Suzanne so warm and was there to greet us. Throughout our stay, she was very quick to respond to questions and she had wonderful suggestions about the area. This is a most serene location. We woke to the sounds of birds and water lapping along the shore. Many meals were eaten on the deck overlooking the water. Dinner with moonlight shining across the water was especially memorable. We enjoyed the kayaks and rowed to the nearby islands. Tennis was an added bonus - a quick walk in the neighborhood. All was very comfortable and the home was very tastefully decorated. We cannot recommend this listing high enough. We hope to return!

Westport Fall Retreat

In this era of COVID-19, this Westport cottage provided a perfect location to "get away from it all". The cottage was comfortable, pleasantly decorated and very quiet. The tranquil view from the cottage overlooks the Cadman Bay with flowing water in synch with the tides -- balm for the soul. Each morning I was awakened by the sunrise appearing in the bedroom, creating a gentle start to each day. The close proximity to the Paradise Farm and the Westport Vineyard was an added delight. The farmlands, riverways and ocean beaches in Westport provided additional cues for me and visiting friends to slow down, take deep breaths and enjoy all that nature in this lovely area provides. Finally, Suzanne's generosity and hospitality couldn't have been more accomodating. This Westport cottage is an A+ for individuals or couples wanting a worry-free, relaxing and restorative time away. many thanks Suzanne, for sharing your lovely cottage, Pat Rutherford
