Wonderful home with plentiful amenities. Great location on island and communication with owner was superb. Only complaint was that we paid extra for a heated pool and didn’t get to use it, bummer!

This was the perfect villa for our get away.We couldn't fault a thing ! The house is beautiful. It has everything we needed- so much crockery, utensils , cups and glasses and all the thoughtful things like hairdryers , towels, games and more , which all saves on suitcase room. The location was superb for exploring , the views were stunning and the house was amazing. The house was so clean and the gardens and pool are obviously well looked after . If there wasn't so much of this amazing island to explore, we would have been happy just to stay at the house all the time. It literally has all you need. The hosts were brilliant too - they were responsive, answered all questions and communication was greatWe are so sad this holiday is over , but we really hope to return in the not too distant future , and this villa is the place we would always go back to. No other holiday will ever compare to this one .

Having stayed in many villas in the local area, this was by far the best value for money villa we have stayed in. Great view from well appointed outside space, great pool, comfy beds, and wants for nothing with regard to all other amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

This Villa is the best VRBO that we have ever stayed at. Every part of the Villa was amazing. The view was spectacular. It was well worth the little extra to heat the pool. The kitchen was well appointed. The owners do their best to give their guests a lot of options for activities in the area. The location was always in the sunshine despite the micro climates around the island. Also the location was an easy drive to the beach, groceries, cliff top views, PR hikes and any exploring desired. The island of Madeira is amazing.

Very nice house, well equipped, just a bit cold in the winter, if the weather is poor. The fireplace and the the extra heaters were very helpful.

This is an excellent luxury villa, with a large pool, great garden and good facilities. You do need a car as there is very little in walking distance, but it is only 10 minutes to Calheta and the drive is easy. The kitchen was very well equipped, and all the furnishing are of a high standard. The nearest decent supermarket is 30 mins drive, but it is again easy to find. There a many great walks you can drive to within 30 mins but not too much on the doorstep. The host was excellent and communication very clear. Given the weather in Maderia, you do need to have the pool heated, it isn't cheap but is a necessity, so factor that into the costs. We loved the table tennis table, spin bike and weights in the garage. we didn't know they would be there and its one of the things we really appreciated, so we hope they will remain available in future. We would highly recommend this Villa and hope to go back in the future.

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa das Flores. The house is amazing, set in beautiful grounds. Lovely pool, very private. Arco da Calheta is a perfect, central yet quiet holiday base to explore Madeira. The ocean view is just breathtaking!Great contact with the owners before travel. A great house in a wonderful location. Everything was perfect. However, few things in the house could use replacing/upgrading, as they are no longer in perfect working order. Otherwise, we had a very good time at Casa das Flores. The handover also went smoothly. We will gladly return on our next visit.

Thank you for your review Jean-Claude. Casa das Flores which is our main home is managed, when we are away, by our caretaker manager Vanda and her team providing us and our guests with an excellent back service.
