We absolutely loved this place! The cabin, the dock, the paddle boat
. It was so fun. It was our first vacation that was truly stress free and everyone in the family had a great time. Host was amazing and communicative and welcoming!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was exactly as described, and the lake was absolutely beautiful!!!! Perfect spot for a couple or a young family.

Cabin was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake right on the water front. Blue gill come right up to the dock which makes a ton of fun for little kids learning to fish. Definitely the perfect little getaway I needed for a last minute vacation. The paddle boat and kayak included with the rental was a nice touch if you have kids that like to be out on the water. Would recommend this place if you’re looking for a little rustic style cabin getaway with the family or hunting trip.

Super cool Cabin. Loved the animal skins and other decor around the cabin. Has an air conditioner if needed. Really enjoyed the kayak and paddle boat. Had a blast catching pan fish and some bass. Can't wait to come back for a escape :)

Nice and relaxing

Had a great relaxing time. Seemed larger than its sq ftg. Fun fishing off the dock and in the paddle boat. Our dog had a blast. Felt very at home and comfortable.

The cottage was so cute and cozy I just fell in love with it. It was very clean and had almost everything I needed. The bed was great! I slept really well all six nites! I plan on coming back to the area again and it will be where I will stay if available.

Exquisite, Cozy Up-North Getaway

The cabin at Bluegill lake was the perfect place for my girlfriends for an ideal up North Michigan getaway. We swam, made a fire, and took out the paddle boat. Jon & Di were great hosts and quick to answer any questions we had! Can’t wait to go back!

Clean, fully stocked rustic cabin with an updated bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed and coffee pot brewed quick. The patio was great with a nice firepit. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock and paddle boat. We caught bluegill, largemouth bass, perch, and catfish. Lots of red-headed woodpeckers, chickadees, and tufted titmouse birds for viewing. Check in and checkout were a breeze. Great hosts who were easy to communicate with. We will be back!

Peaceful

If you are looking for the ultra modern luxury high tech experience, this place is not for you. This cabin is a wonderful place to experience a peaceful and comfortable authentic log cabin, with plenty of amenities for the modern adventurers. The atmosphere of generations passing down traditions and love. And Jon & Di are very helpful and kind. Enjoy!

Cozy cabin

This was a cute cabin, right in Bluegill Lake. The neighboring cabins were pretty close, but both were empty while I was there. It hadnt been vacuumed when I arrived, but I texted the owners some pics and they refunded me part of the fee so I felt better about that. Besides some occasional traffic, it was a very peaceful couple of days. :)

Cute Cabin!

Thank you so much for allowing my husband to stay here for 2 weeks while he was working in the area. We realize it was probably not your typical booking request. My kids and I stayed for the first week. The cabin is so cute and fishing from the dock was so fun. The property manager took care of a couple things for us and he js such a nice guy and we appreciated his help!
