Enjoy this relaxing 2-bedroom house that is located just steps away from Houghton Lake. There is a small boat launch is located at the end of the street.

This wonderful property offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The bedrooms feature 1 queen bed and a twin trundle bed (2 twin beds) ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. You'll find all the essentials you need, including a smart tv, WiFi, dishes, cookware, heating, and AC. The bathroom has towels, soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer. Also, there is an additional sleeping space in the living room with a full size pull out sofa bed.

Finally, for an additional fee, we do allow for 2 dogs under 50 lbs each to stay. The backyard is completely fenced in with a 4ft high fence. We provide protective covers for the furniture if you are bringing dogs.

You can enjoy the beautiful view of Houghton Lake from the backyard, explore the Houghton Lake area, or simply unwinding in the comfort of this excellent rental, we hope you enjoy what our place and Houghton Lake has to offer.

The location is perfect for my dogs and Ito take in the beautiful area. We love to hike and this house is located very near to so many trails. The host is wonderful and always leaves a sweet welcoming package. The house is clean and comfortable. We have stayed here several times and this is our go to place for a long weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The house was cute, clean and very well equipped. Host was very responsive and friendly. Property very pet friendly with fenced backyard. The only drawback we experienced was the local and street fireworks all weekend (over 4th of July) was very very loud so beware if your dogs are sensitive to this, or if you have PTSD.

Great place to watch the sunset !!!

It was great that they left a gift card for a pizza, and the snacks for us and our dog. The neighbors were great and it was quiet and peaceful there. The only things we were not impressed with were no lights worked in the kitchen area, except the stove light. It was a bummer that there was no screen on the doorwall or the one bedroom window, so we really could not get a good cross breeze in there. I also never received a phone number to call the owners and got use to always getting a number when we have booked through here. I had sent a message asking if we could check in earlier and never received a response. I have always been able to do that with the rentals, just not this one.

Wonderful weekend away!

My husband and I booked a long weekend to visit family and this place couldn't have been better! It was clean, warm, welcoming and everything we wanted in a home away from home. Our host was wonderful and they had any/all little extras you could possibly need!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed for a last minute long weekend. Everything was perfect and clean. The host left us a great welcome package and left many thoughtful goodies. It was during TipUp so it was great overlooking tge lake and watching the snowmobiles. We will definitely be back.
