THE SPACE
Walking into Surf Loft, located above Third Coast Surf Shop, you and your guests will be swept up by the deliciously spacious, beautifully lit, richly designed atmosphere. The combo platter of elegance and comfort is amazing! The living room-dining room-kitchen’s open design lends an extra layer of uncrowded roominess, and the hand-selected furniture, artwork, and accessories all add to the plush, metro-chic environment.

Feeling laid-back? Chill in front of the gas fireplace and watch a favorite show or movie on the extra-wide flat-screen TV. Care for a little gamesmanship? Invite a fellow guest to a game—or two or three—of Foosball, given there’s a top-of-the-line table sitting there in the living room! And speaking of high quality, the fully-equipped kitchen features everything you may need to create scrumptious meals or snacks, including stainless-steel appliances and a host of essentials you’ll enjoy dipping into. Plus, there’s a way-nice stone-top island we hear is a popular gathering place for morning coffee—and we set you up with only Keurig’s good stuff, by the way—or any vacation day planning. Want to share a meal in a more formal setting? We’ve got you covered with a sweet 6-seat dining table to meet your dining needs. There’s also a long hall table we’ve heard guests say serves nicely as a workstation, for those who may want to get some remote work in.

Both bedrooms are luxuriously appointed, have ensuite bathrooms, and feature top-quality bedding and linens to ensure a sound sleep and sweet dreams.

Both bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms. The Primary bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower, deluxe twin-sink vanity, and high-end fixtures. The second bedroom’s ensuite bathroom has a shower-soaker tub combo with a Rain Shower head. It’s highlighted by a deluxe vanity and high-end fixtures. Plus, there’s a washer-dryer combo and all the essentials to meet your and your guests’ laundry needs.

Out on the huge deck, you and your guests can relax at the stylish patio set—with 6 sleek rattan chairs—or set yourselves down in the comfy outdoor couch and chairs set. Either way, we highly recommend sipping a glass of vino or your favorite beverage while counting stars at night. And if you get hungry for some lip-smacking barbecue, there’s also a top-notch gas grill out there for grilling to your heart’s content!

Being at Surf Loft, you’re literally just a short walk or stone’s throw from a superb Lake Michigan beach—the ever-popular Silver Beach, named one of the Top 10 Family Beaches in America by Parents Magazine—where you can also check out the Silver Beach Carousel and ride one of its 50 handmade carousel figures. You’re within walking distance, too, of lots of other cool amenities, including a county park, St. Joseph’s Harbor, an art museum and arboretum, plenty of eateries, stylish boutiques, antique shops, and other downtown places to explore. Nearby, you’ll also find six other excellent beaches, some with majestic sand dunes, hiking and biking trails galore, wineries and brewpubs, golf courses, and the region’s largest recreational harbor, with all sorts of water-related activities to dive into—from boat, jet-ski, kayak, canoe, or paddleboard rentals to day or evening cruises, fishing expeditions, and more.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

This is a downtown area with no reserved parking space for this property. Vehicles will need to arrange for parking at the guest's expense.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

We welcome up to one dog at this home at no additional charge. Please include your dog in the reservation details or let our team know after booking.  

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
