As you enter the home, you are greeted by the floor to ceiling windows of the Great Room that feature epic views of the surrounding woodlands and Placer Valley. The open-concept Great Room and Kitchen make spending quality time as a family easy! The living area features comfortable leather seating centered around a smart TV and a beautiful stone hearth with a wood-burning fireplace. The well appointed kitchen offers ample counter space, top-of-the-line appliances, and everything you might need to whip up your family's favorite meal. Enjoy high top seating for two at the kitchen bar, seating for six at the dinner table, or step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck where you will find outdoor seating and a propane BBQ grill.

The central bathroom on the middle level of the home offers a standard vanity, a private toilet, and a bathtub/shower combo so you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or you can sink in for a long, hot soak after all the activities a day in the Colorado Rocky Mountains may afford.

The middle level bedroom features custom log furniture, a plush queen size bed and a cozy reading nook. The bright and cheerful bedroom has a large window, a spacious closet and direct access to the bathroom or the hallway.

Up the stairs to the open loft, you'll find a corner desk and cozy couch - a perfect place to snuggle up with a good book and lounge the day away! The top floor bedroom features a plush Queen size bed fitted with cozy cotton bed linens, a spacious walk-in closet, a large window, and its own en suite bathroom. The bathroom offers a standard vanity, toilet, and a walk-in shower.

Down the steps to the bottom floor, you will discover a spacious Entertainment Room, with comfortable seating centered around a smart tv, and a game table with adjacent shelves filled with a variety of games and toys that are guaranteed to keep everyone in your party entertained. Access the quiet and secluded hot tub from the entertainment room, for an evening soak after a long day of hiking or skiing The ground floor bedroom features a queen size bed, a twin over full size bunk bed and a large closet. Across the hall, the bathroom offers a pedestal sink, a standard toilet, and a bathtub/shower combo. At the end of the hallway, you can access a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer available for guest use, so no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town.

Placer Valley is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe Elk, Deer and Foxes (just to name a few!) right on the property. Additionally, the wetland area located less than 1 mile from the home is one of the areas where you may be able to see Moose in their natural habitat.

Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "Base Camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.
