This enchanting house is a perfect homebase for your trip to Houghton Lake. Large area for parking your boat or other trailers. Four bedrooms, including a king bed, queen bed, twin beds, and sofa bed. There’s plenty of space for all guests. The soothing atmosphere of the lake and excellent amenities like AC, heating, and Wi-Fi ensure comfortable stay The bathroom which features a bathtub and shower provides convenience for everyone. There’s an additional living room with a queen bed for even more relaxation. Kickback, relax and enjoy everything Houghton Lake and our house has to offer. See nature at its best, a cute town with golf course down the road, boating, jet skiing, fishing, ice fishing and hunting. Home has ADT security and fenced in yard for privacy. Outdoor grill and dinning area. Also a large seating around fire pit.

10 of us: 6 adults and 4 kids under 7. Lots of room to move about! Comfortable beds. Lots of parking for trucks and trailers. Vlose to everything. Great value! Will be back to this home again!

Very nice well furnished house close to several points of interest.

We had a great stay here. The house is well furnished with clean linens and towels for you to use. You could tell the property is cleaned well between renters. The beds and furniture were also all in good shape and not broken down or dirty from over use. It’s well located to several restaurants and to Lyman’s on the lake, which is where you’ll want to go for any fishing needs.

Tip up town ice fishing

The place was at a very convenient location to go ice fishing. Just drove across the road and was on the lake. The place had lots of beds with nice big open rooms. The place was perfect for our family ice fishing adventure

Everything was great for what we needed while visiting family in the area. Host was in communication with the check in procedures and needed information. The living room area was a nice place relax. Our only complaint was the layout of the space could have been communicated in the description better. We had elderly family members with us and there were stairs in unexpected places. Due to the layout it was weird to have to walk from one part of the sleeping area thorough another bedroom to reach the bathroom. The temperature was also hard to control and the rooms were all very different temperatures. We didn't use the outdoor space due to it being winter but the yard was spacious.

The place is pretty big overall. Our host was great with communication. We didn’t love that in order to get to the bathroom, our kids had to go through the master bedroom - especially during the night when we’re trying to sleep. Kids couldn’t watch the tv in their room since it wasn’t hooked up at first and nothing was logged in for Netflix, etc. The main couch is pretty uncomfortable and definitely needs an ottoman to stretch out your legs, especially if you have more than two people on the couch! The bedrooms could use darkening curtains. It’s in a decent location, close to most things like the beach and grocery stores.

Yes my home is large and everyone has loved it The sofa sits 5-6 its huge and there is another living room that sits 4-5. I try my best and even put out coffee. For the money its a deal there’s no hotels that sleep sleep 10 people I have never had 6-10 rating in 2 years but thanks for the tips.

I love this lake. Great fishing and boating lake. Just love jet sking in the warm lake. Its one of the most beautiful lakes in MI. I truely enjoy relaxing and getting back into nature here.

Our home is newly renovated. Large home that sleeps 10. Most of the homes in this area do not have home this large. We are across from the lake and just 10 min from Higgins lake.
