Escape to this cabin in Rapid City, MI located right down the road from Torch lake and on the banks of beautiful Rapid River. Enjoy Sunset views on the private dock, and-or take a Kayak down the river and into Torch Lake. This cozy retreat features 2 bedrooms, a peaceful living room with a sofa bed, and all the essentials like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine. Guests can unwind in the nice ambiance of this excellent property, making it the perfect home away from home. Enjoy your time in Rapid City at our cabin.

- THE PROPERTY --
The Cabin is recently newly renovated and its located on the banks of Rapid River. Torch Lake and Skegemog Lake are accessible with Paddle board, Kayak or Canoe. The River right at the dock is slow, shallow and has a sandy bottom. Take a lawn chair and just sit and refresh with nature as the river cools your feet. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need, including silverware, cookware, and dinnerware. Coffee Maker, Toaster, and other kitchen appliances are included. Living Room and Bedrooms all have Smart Roku TV's. The cabin sleeps up to 4, with each of the 2 bedrooms having 1 Queen bed.

Torch Lake is less then 1 mile away - Swim, boat, enjoy the sunshine on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Use Kayak, canoe, tube, or standup paddle board to float down the river to Torch Lake or Lake Skegemog. Fish or Fly Fish right off the dock, or give it a go on many of the Lakes and Rivers around. Hiking trails, Mountain bike trails, road cycling, 4-wheeling, two tracking are popular activates in the area. Many restaurants and winery options in the area as well as many enchanting small towns.

There is a single camera on the property, its mounted on the outside of the cabin facing the driveway entrance. This is used to ensure the safety of the guests and the owner.
Guest are not to use the cabin wood fireplace.
We are located right across the road from the cabin.

Cannot say enough great things about this cabin and the host! Our family spent a wonderful week kayaking, exploring all the nearby towns and enjoying the cozy cabin. Joe and Angie went above and beyond to make sure our family had everything we could have possibly needed. Great host, great house, we are already planning our next trip back!

Beautiful setting on the water. Our family and especially our boys had a blast playing the river. So peaceful sitting on the dock. Everything is as described and in a great location for easy access to the incredible Torch Lake. Our family had a blast.

Excellent property

Our family of four vacationed here in June and loved it. The location is wonderful, nestled against a pine backdrop and steps from a shallow river. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The owners expertly and thoughtfully updated the cabin for guests. It was wonderful to have a camping experience by the river and still have the cleanliness and amenities of home.

Great spot to relax by the river that goes in torch lake.

I stayed 2 nights here and it was amazing on the weekend the sandbar is the place to be. Right in back is a small river that leads to it.

What an amazing stay !

I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals , and I must say, I was very impressed with everything about this property. The location is RIGHT on the rapid river. The home has been recently updated, with amenities such as dishwasher , kitchen stocked with utensils / pots/ pan, newer furniture And a washer and drier. The place was SPOTLESS, Angie was a very responsive and helpful host ! She even researched local deer processors for me! I’d definitely stay here again !

PERFECT UP NORTH MICHIGAN SLICE OF HEAVEN!!

EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! We visted over Labor Day weekend! The property by far, without a doubt exceeded our expectations. We loved the Modern appliances with touches of rustic farmh charm throughout the completely updated home. The cabin offers a deep soaking tub, great water pressure and my partner cant stop talking about his love for the linens. Throughout the day we watched wildlife all around the beautiful scenary in the wooded property that still offers enough flat land for corn hole, grilling on the patio or enjoying the bon fire too. The dock was our biggest highlight. Quiet, peaceful, shallow, crystal clear river. Lots of fly fishing. About 1/2 mile away is the Torch River boat launch, making this property a hidden gem for the area. The owner & Family are so accommodating including giving us info about the boat launch and letting us borrow their kayaks and setting up campchairs. I wish I could gatekeep this property forever because we cant say enough good things. Cant wait to bring our childen back up next season.
