The grounds are kept in great shape, the unit is in a great location and within walking distance of restaurants and other attractions. The condo we stayed at was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable.

Pros and cons

Pros: spacious condo on the beach with great views. Decorated nice. Location was good and close proximity to lots of restaurants and attractions. Beds were comfortable.Kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Unit has a washer and dryer. There is beach gear , such as chairs, pails and umbrella in the unit as well. Cons: entire unit could use a fresh coat of paint. Both bathrooms aren’t properly ventilated so one has a ceiling with cracked paint and the second had mold in the shower wall paint as well as on the ceiling. Door lock was broken and the main office was closed and we were told no one would come out to fix it for another full day till office opened on Monday. The answering service woman was extremely rude and acted inconvenienced at the request to have it fixed , but they did send someone out within a few hours once we pointed out it would be a safety issue if anyone could just walk into the apartment since it no longer locked. When we arrived they must have just cleaned the couches because the cushions were soaked, and remained that way for almost 3 days. Housekeeping should also pay attention to detail like the dust build up in air registers and other areas of condo. Overall, this is an ok place to stay but for the money they are asking a little tlc and elbow grease would go a long way to change this to a great place to stay.

Nice beachside condo

Liked the simple decor, the spacious living room and bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen was appreciated. Owner was responsive to our concerns and gave very good instructions. Enjoyed the view of the beach and the comfortable porch.

Everything was perfect. From checking in to checking out. Pictures in the review were exactly as shown. Th kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Beautiful view. Rooms well decorated. The bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.

Location on Myrtle Beach was great for a quick drive to local restaurants/shopping.The only issue we had was the main bathroom toilet was not working and dirty when we got there and took almost 24 hours to get a resource to come out and address. Luckily we had another toilet (master bathroom) that worked until this was resolved.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a most wonderful family vacation at Carolina Dunes. Being oceanfront was wonderful, especially with 7 grandchildren out and about. The condo was very nice, especially the kitchen and living area. The master bathroom was okay...but after staying at Anchorage 2 for so many years, there is no comparison. There was some mold above the shower, which I tried to clean to no avail. When I called about no hot water in the master shower, it was taken care of immediately. Much appreciated! Thank you for a great week!
