This was a perfect location for biking the Root River trail. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. I slept amazing, the bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

We did a girls trip and stayed at this beautiful cozy place. It was perfectly located next to the beautiful bike trial. The place was exactly as described and perfect. Mike & Kristi were great at communicated. We loved the extra touch of leaving a bag of Lefse chips for us to have. Everything was truly perfect and made our trip one that we will remember.

Mike's and Kristi's house was an excellent place to stay! The house was, for our purposes, spacious. The kitchen was very nice. The whole house was very clean. Mike and Kristi always replied promptly when I sent messages to them through VRBO. The location was great, very near the bike trail through Peterson. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for lodging along the Root River biking trail. The lefse chips were a neat welcome gift, and the choice of TV viewing options was amazing. Thanks, Mike and Kristi!

Family Biking Trip Stay

We came to Peterson for a family biking trip. We loved that the property is right on the bike trail. The home is comfortable and cozy and had all the items we needed. We also loved the outdoor patio. There is an old home smell to it and the steps to get upstairs are narrow and steep. The metal frame on the bunk bed I’m the upstairs room is creeky making noise if there is a wiggly sleeper in it.

Root River biking!

This property was perfect for our bike trip with friends! We loved how the trail was right by the house. The house was very clean, we enjoyed the patio, and had a bonfire in back yard. We would recommend this property and would come back again!

The house was next to the bike trail, in a quiet area. We enjoyed the deck and having a complete kitchen which was well stocked.

Great place to stay to enjoy the Root River biking trail. Owners were extremely helpful with a few questions we had. Cozy little house was less than a block away from the trail. If you turn right you head east to Rushford and Houston. If you turn left onto the trail you are heading west to Whalan and Lanesboro. The owners were very responsive to a few issues we had on our stay. House was very well maintained and clean. We would stay there again in the future.

We enjoyed a nice fall stay in Peterson, MN. Perfect location on the trail, walking distance to the river for fishing. Everything we needed to have fun together and chill :-)

cozy home

Great location for getting on bike trail! We enjoyed the fire pit in back as well as the patio area to take in the outdoors. The home was very clean and comfortable. I did not see on the listing that only one of the bedrooms was on the main floor and the other two were upstairs- the stairs were very steep with loose railings.

Great Location for Biking!

The outdoor area was really nice. Inside there was a faint odor of cigarettes. It hit you at the front door, so perhaps previous guest smoked on the front stoop. Checking in was a slight hassle as I had to reach out for instructions.
