The Space:
1. Check-In & Access
Start your stay with ease using our smart keypad lock. You’ll receive your personal code before arrival—just punch it in, and you’re inside. No keys, no waiting, just a quick and smooth check-in.
2. Wi-Fi
High-speed Wi-Fi is complimentary and available throughout your stay. The network name and password will be in your welcome email and posted inside the room for easy access.
3. The Bedroom
This is a cozy, small space designed for comfort and simplicity. Your full-sized bed, dressed in crisp white linens, offers the perfect spot to rest after a day exploring CDA. You’ll also find:
A small table with two chairs—ideal for meals, work, or trip planning
Luggage racks for easy organization
Side tables with USB plug-ins and wireless charging
White noise machine to help you sleep soundly
Bedside alarm clocks
Curtains for privacy and light control
Settle in and enjoy a movie or show on the large flat-screen TV.
4. Kitchenette
The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, coffee pot, countertop ice maker, and microwave, along with cupboard space for your own items—perfect for quick bites or coffee on the go.
5. Bathroom Amenities
The bathroom comes stocked with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap—everything you need to freshen up and unwind.
6. Check-Out and Early Check-In Options
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
If you’d like a little extra time, 2:00 PM early check-in or 12:00 PM (noon) late check-out are available for an additional $25 each, subject to availability—just reach out in advance to reserve.
7. Local Attractions
The location puts you close to everything CDA has to offer—beautiful lakes, scenic hikes, local dining, shopping, and seasonal events are all nearby.
8. Pets
Dogs are welcome for a $50 pet fee per stay to keep the space fresh for all guests. Unfortunately, we cannot host cats.
Parking
Our on-site lot is small, but there’s extra parking right around the corner on a quiet side street next to the building, and there’s always room available.
Guest Access:
You'll have full, private access to the entire studio apartment throughout your stay. This includes the bedroom, full bathroom, kitchenette,, and exterior areas. Enjoy your privacy, and don't hesitate to contact us if you need anything.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of historic Coeur d'Alene, our neighborhood offers easy access to all the town has to offer. Enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor dining options, year-round community events, local art, cafes, and antique shops. You'll be just 5 minutes from the beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Coeur d'Alene Resort, and only 5 minutes from the local golf course a short 7 minute drive to the Kootenai hospital. For more adventure, 30 minutes to Silverwood Theme Park, and 35 minutes to Silver Mountain for skiing and snowboarding. Plus, Triple Play, featuring a year-round indoor water park, is just 15 minutes away!
Getting Around:
Getting around The Flats is easy! You'll find free parking available on-site, though spaces are limited. Additional parking is readily available on the quiet side street next to the building. For those flying in, Spokane International Airport (GEG) is approximately a 40-minute drive away. Public transportation options are limited in Coeur d'Alene, but ride-sharing services are readily available to help you explore the area.
Other Things to Note:
This unit is cozy and best suited for solo travelers. If you need more space, we also offer larger queen rooms and a one-bedroom apartment in the same building. Message us for details on our bigger units and availability.

Upon arrival was unable to check or communicate with the location management. Still have not received a response three days after trying to check in. Had to seek other accommodations and are still waiting for a refund after several attempts to contact have gone unanswered. Do not recommend.

The Flats was very easy to find. It is located close to downtown. The rooms are small but clean. It would have been nice to have a bench to sit on or put our suitcases on. There is no closet or place to hang a coat. Bathroom was nice. This place has recently been remodeled

Good space for a short stay
The room was modern, clean and we felt safe in the area. The room is on the smaller side, but the bathroom was sizeable and it was nice having a mini "kitchenette" portion with a fridge, microwave, and cutlery if needed. It was super convenient to have the door right next to the parking spaces, so we were easily able to walk in/ out of the room and to our car without many steps.The entry is a keypad format, which was convenient for us to not have to carry keys/ a card key.The property manager also checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed.

We were grateful that it was available over the Fourth of July weekend for sure, but the room was really tight and the bed was very tiny. It was a full size instead of a queen. The LED lights were flickering quite often and it was not quiet, but we were grateful still to have a room over the fourth.

Overall the place was what we needed. It was clean, easy to get to, limited parking but great when you got a spot, and the host was responsive.There was potential for this to be a perfect stay! Unfortunately when we arrived, we opened the door and there was a very strong cigarette scent. Even the towels smelt of smoke. This was surprising because it was noted as a non smoking property. We let the room air out but unfortunately the smell lingered for the whole weekend. The AC unit worked great, but it started making a loud gurgling sound (even when not in use). It was 90 degrees that weekend and we were nervous it was going to go out on us. Luckily it didn’t, however the sound would kick out multiple times throughout the day/night and it was irritating. We paid a decent amount for this space, which was slightly disappointing after the cigarette smell and AC noise.
