Our second time here, hope to be back next year, or sooner. Just outside of town, and we hit several wineries in the area. Plus two places to have a good dinner just right beside us. ! 5 Stars

This villa is beautiful and so is the view from the back porches. I like that it has two separate heating and air units. The kitchen is a dream and everything worked perfectly. David is very easy to work with and responds to all of your questions very quickly. The only downside is that there are no TV's in the downstairs bedrooms.

Beatifical home with great balcony view of the vineyards. House had all of amenities and high end appliances. Walking distance to the MontaLuce restaurant and close to several good hiking spots.

We got married at Montaluce this past Tuesday! Since it is a drive from our home, we decided that we wanted to book a place to stay for the day before and the night of our wedding, to relax and really soak in our little 2-day wedding week. We looked into each of the privately owned villas located just a short drive up from the winery, on VRBO, and while each were beautiful, there was some unnameable specialness that stood out to us about this one. It was like a magnet from the universe. Come to find out, we actually had met the host, David, on the same project that we ourselves met each other on nearly 9 years ago. It’s like it was meant to be
 what a small world. This villa feels so authentically Italian, in the architecture as well as decor. From the exterior to the interior, it’s clear that not only is it stunning, but each detail feels intentional. We love that each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus one half bath on the main floor, as well as other special features, such as the cozy outdoor fireplace, the entire kitchen, the claw foot tub in the main floor master bathroom, the view overlooking the vineyard, etc. We also were excited to see so much wildlife, from deer to ladybugs. David was very kind and welcoming to us, contributing to such an incredibly memorable time. We can’t thank him enough and definitely see ourselves visiting this charming villa in the future, again and again. Thank you so much for everything!Kyja & Alex

The home was great, kitchen had all you needed to cook. Home was clean and even decorated for Christmas. Very easy to find and check in and out. Great area very quiet. Host was very responsive and helpful.

The host was very responsive. The house was in great condition & well appointed. We loved sitting on the balcony porch, overlooking the vineyards . And the side patio & fireplace was awesome for spending time relaxing & talking with family. We will be back.

We stayed two nights for a college graduation, and wish we could’ve stayed longer! We took full advantage of the two restaurants at Montaluce Winery for our suppers, but the kitchen was fully stocked for those wanting to cook on the professional grade Wolf stove. Throughout the beautifully decorated house, there were little touches everywhere that made our stay quite comfortable. Our hosts were so gracious to share their beautiful home with us, and it was elegant yet comfortable which is not an easy balance to pull off. Communication with the owner was stellar. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in the Dahlonega area.

Just an hour and half from downtown Atlanta and you are in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. Located on the Etowah river Montaluce Winery is perfect for fly fishing, kakaking and there are many waterfalls and hiking trails in the northeast Georgia mountains. Bicyclist love our area as do bikers for the miles of beautiful scenery. We enjoy good food and wine with friends in a unique setting.
