Before responding, I spent nearly two hours on the phone with VRBO trying to understand your concerns, but they were unwilling to provide the photos or details you referenced. Because the home is in a remote wooded area, occasional issues can occur, but what you described is not reflective of the standard I work hard to maintain. You mentioned these issues were present at arrival, and I wish you had contacted me at that time. We live next door, and you had contact information throughout your stay. You remained for the full weekend without notifying me, and I regret not having the chance to address your concerns. I also sincerely apologize if you felt any level of discrimination. This was never my intention. When you arrived with a boat, after we had discussed before you booked the reservation that the property could not accommodate a trailer, I had to contact the neighboring landowner to request permission for you to cross his property. Fortunately, he allowed access so your plans would not be disrupted. I aim to provide a welcoming, comfortable stay for every guest, and I’m sorry this experience fell short. Now that I understand the issues you encountered, I’ll be addressing them to ensure they don’t happen again.
