Great place to stay with kids and dogs. Back yard is fenced in and has a little play set and room for kids and dogs to get some energy out. A little bit of a drive from Somerset, but that was a fair trade for the yard space. The fire place was warm and cozy. The host was very responsive to questions.

This place was so cozy and felt like home. We loved the hot tub and the dogs loved the giant fenced in yard. They also enjoyed watching the cows, horses, and chickens across the street. It was a great little getaway with pretty fall colors and nice quite atmosphere.

The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Very pet friendly. I would have given 5 stars but it only had one bathroom. Hot tub was amazing. Scenery was beautiful would return again if in the area

First of all this was our family’s 2nd stay at this property. After our first visit last summer here we fell in love with this place!! Fenced in backyard for our 2 doggies to roam and play. They liked the horses and bulls up front, barking telling em hello lol. But Kris is the best of hosts you’ll ever find!! Anything you may need she says always to holler but you don’t need anything, she has it all there!! We spent 4 nites at the firepit, stargazing, listening to the sounds of the mountains we are in. Absolutely beautiful house and property!! The hot tub out back a big time hit with the kids and their significant others!! We loved it as well! Beds very comfortable, house very clean and no issues other than the water heater went out on us on Saturday and we texted and talked with her and she had a crew out there fixing it and we had hot water again in no time!! Kris you have a beautiful property and thank you for sharing that with us! We absolutely love your place and we will be back for our 3rd visit next summer/fall as long as you allow us! Thank you again Sheila and Mark

Great stay near Lake Cumberland

Our family had an awesome time here. The house was spacious and comfortable, well-kept and clean. It was a good location for us to hike, boat and see all the sights around Lake Cumberland. Would definitely stay here again.

Check-IN was very easy. The kitchen was perfect. It had an ice maker on the freezer. When we stayed it was pretty hot weather. The ice maker helped withe cold drinks we needed. The bedrooms worked perfect for our family of 5. The backyard had a hot tub and picnic tables to sit at. The farm animals next door and at the house across the street were a hit as well

Short family vacation stay

The property was exactly what we hoped it would be. Pet friendly with a secure fence so they could not get out. Access to the pool right across from the house. Plenty of supplies if you forgot something. Kris was a great host, brought more towels if we needed them and was very hospitable. Would highly recommend if you are wanting to stay in the area. We will book with her again the next time for sure.

First get away after husbands cancer

Booked the property to take my husband on fishing charter. It was unfortunetly at the opposite end of the lake but very glad we booked it. There was initial confusion about the address, but getting away albeit in the rain the the beautiful country setting was just what we needed, The hot tub looking out at the farm animals and birds with fireflies flashing in the tree like twinkling lights. One of the only rentals that had plenty of towels and towels for the hot tub as well. Would like to return when we have more time to relax. Thanks for the stay

Super cute home with everything you need!

What a cute home with a very large yard area for kids, adults and fur babies! This home has everything you would want or need! The check in process was super easy and check out even easier! Property manager is super friendly and quick to respond! Will definitely stay here again.

Cozy and peaceful

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is clean, cozy, and full of charm. You can truly feel the care and love the owner has put into every detail to ensure guests have a peaceful, relaxing experience. She was incredibly friendly and responsive, which made everything even smoother. The views from the hot tub and fire pit—overlooking a picturesque hillside with grazing livestock—were simply beautiful. Our dogs had the time of their lives running around the spacious, fenced-in backyard. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

Second time stay for us!

This was our second time staying at this charming and cozy place and we loved it just as much as we did the first time! We have family that we visit in the area and it’s a perfect base camp to come and visit, yet have our own space without imposing on family. We especially love the huge yard and the fact that it dog-friendly!

To us its a slice of heaven away from the hustle and bustle while being a few minutes from anything you need, the lake, boat ramps and water access within just minutes all around you and entertainment. wildlife, birds, and the country fresh breeze refreshes your soul. When the weather turns cool, enjoy the fireplace with no fuss gas logs, or gather around the fire pit surrounded by mother nature and peace and quiet.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This farm house is surrounded with incredible views of the country surrounded with a hillside view complete decompression zone, social distancing at its best. Deer frequent the back yard as well as turkey and many other of natures critters. A fire pit outside makes for great gatherings in the evenings. Oh and the hot tub with that view - don't miss the shooting stars at night! We even supply the jar if you want to catch lightning bugs in the summer! When the weather cools, inside there is a lovely sandstone fireplace with easy to use and no fuss gas logs....all you need to do to enjoy a hearth side fire is push a button.
