Great little place to stay. Francesca was so lovely as a host and had everything set up perfectly! Very clean, close location to the beach, and just a short drive to main attractions. Fran made it easy to just relax and enjoy the house!

We had an awesome stay in Racine. The house was clean cute and filled with little extras! North Beach is steps away and truly a top rate beach. We also visited the Racine Zoo which we able to walk to. Enjoyed our leisurely visit with the animals.

10/10 regarding house and all the amenities. Close to the beach, exactly what we wanted. The only thing to note is the amount of traffic on Main St. It tends to be noisy even late into the night. We appreciated the little touches like the sound machines. Alleviated the background noise of the road. A special cozy house that took care of our needs. Thank you!

WOULD GIVE 20 STARS IF WE COULD

Fran provided us with an excellent house for our Racine visit. The photos didn't do it justice. It is charming, comfortable, clean and fully equipped. There were many pleasant surprises, both inside and out. Outside space was better than expected. Neighborhood was great. Location couldn't have been better. Fran is an awesome host. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice, relaxing stay

The property was very well maintained. Inside was staged nicely. I felt like I was in a "home", not a rental. Very generous of owner to leave a care package waiting for us of snacks and a nice bottle of wine. Location was awesome, 2 blocks from the lake. It is on a busier street but it wasnt really a problem when we were inside. Sound machine provided to block out any noise while you're sleeping. Nice to have the freedom to move around a place rather than feel "boxed up" in a hotel room. Loved it!!

The house was extremely close to the water and the beach area was great! Easy to get around town and locate restaurants and stores. Only issue we had was there were so many spiders outside, we could not enjoy the patio/deck. We thought about having a fire but the spiders were everywhere. I personally don’t know the city of Racine but the road the house is on is noisy. Lots of cars and dogs barking through the night. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs!

We loved our stay at the "North Beach Bungalow"! It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. It really filled the bill for me, a teacher, looking for a relaxing break after a long year. Fran does a great job making you feel at home right when you walk in. She provided snacks, wine and cheese, and a welcoming note. If we had any questions or needs she was just a phone call away.The home is very clean and well supplied. We enjoyed the North Lake beach which is only a very short walk away. We took a walk on the beach every day. Other things we recommend is to rent a kayak at River Bend Nature Center. We were allowed to take as long as we wanted and saw nesting Egrets and a river smooth as glass. Beautiful and relaxing. We took our bikes and did several trails and of course saw the zoo and lighthouse all within 5 miles. The jacuzzi at the house was so great to relax in every night after a long day of adventures.The patio is wonderful too with a fire pit and grill. We took advantage of both. Great just to sit and read or chat . We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.
