The location was 10 min walk to central park with safe neighborhood. We liked the beautiful back yardand the manager was very responsive.Overall, we liked the place :)

The apartment is well located on the Upper West Side and check-in was easy. However, we saw German roaches in the unit during our stay, which was concerning and uncomfortable. You can see that bait is placed in areas that the roaches typically access. This is something the host should address before hosting future guests. It prevented us from wanting to cook while we visited. Therefore, spending outside of our budget.

I can't say enough good things about this location. It is exactly as advertised cozy spot. SUPER convenient location. Central park within walking distance as well as plentiful transportation options.

Was a short but sweet stay!!! Beautiful and impeccable apartment. Walking distance to the subway and so close to both Morningside and Central parks. I highly recommend it!! The one thing I would suggest would be new sheets for the bed. They were super rough like almost knotty but the bed was comfortable! Absolutely would recommend the say.

I wanted so much to love this place. It was a location that I hoped that I could use again and again but unfortunately there was no building provided heat on the first night of the stay. Only a small electric heater that took a lot to track down from the host. I had to wear my coat that first night. I was very dissatisfied with the correspondence with the host. So much about the space was good, but no heat was a deal breaker.

Abject Misrepresentation and Unsafe Conditions 1. Incorrect Address Provided ‱ I was given the wrong apartment address. ‱ I spent two hours searching for a building that did not exist—the given address was a parking lot. 2. Bait-and-Switch Location ‱ When I finally connected with the owners, they gave me a different address. ‱ I had originally booked a 2nd-floor property in Morningside Heights (near family, safe, reputable). ‱ Instead, I was directed to a ground-floor property in Spanish Harlem (not near family, unsafe/undesirable). 3. Unsanitary and Unsafe Building Conditions ‱ The hallway reeked of dead fish. ‱ The apartment door was located ~2’ from the building’s indoor trash chute collection bin. ‱ There was no number on the door; I had to knock on an unlabeled door, uncertain if it was even the correct unit. 4. Interior Conditions ‱ While the apartment interior matched the nice online photos, the unit itself had a strong odor. ‱ Despite the owner’s repeated insistence, there was no Wi-Fi available. ‱ Most critically, the unit lacked a smoke detector—instead there was a hole in the ceiling with exposed wires. 5. Evidence ‱ I have photographic evidence of all the above: – False address location (parking lot), trash chute next to apt door, unlabeled apt entrance, absence of a smoke detector (wires exposed), screenshots documenting no Wi-Fi. 6. Conclusion ‱ I vacated the property. NO REFUND FROM OWNER OR VBRO! SCAM!
