BASSIN! EMPLACEMENT EMPLACEMENT-Super mignon, maison en rondins méticuleusement propre niché dans les bois trÚs proches de Wimberley Square avec une piscine! La maison est un 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain - 4 personnes dort .. Parfait pour 1 ou 2 couples ou couple avec un enfant. A une cour clÎturée privée pour 1 chien, grill et foyer privé. Incroyable 4. 5 acres de propriété. La piscine est partagée avec 1 autre maison sur la superficie. Beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde!
Le paon vit sur place - les enfants adorent le nourrir!
Si vous avez un plus grand groupe- voir vrbo # 411429. Ceci est mon autre maison de journal sur cette propriété.
Nous sommes à seulement 5 minutes en voiture de Wimb Square - antiquités, restaurants, bars.
Seulement 1 mile de la célÚbre belle Blue Hole pour la baignade dans la riviÚre Blanco. Nous sommes à moins de 2 miles à une épicerie, et Wimberley Square pour restaurants et magasins.
Cour arriÚre ombragée sur laquelle se promener aussi .... avec grill + foyer. Accueil a une cuisine complÚte, et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de votre absence ....
4. 5 acres à errer dans les bois, et vous verrez notre paon aussi-- il s'appelle 'Petey' Propriété trÚs privée.

Fun Getaway

Was the perfect little place to stay while visiting family for Thanksgiving! Was even able to "whip" up a dish to contribute! Would stay again for sure!

To say it was wonderful is selling it too short, it was amazing!!!

Cozy cottage feel, located just minutes from downtown Wimberly with a beautiful view of eolling hills! Interior has been altered since the photos included with listing, but still has cottage feel. My family loved the pool as well!

Fantastic Cottage in The Woods

This property was amazing. It was cute, spacious and came equipped with anything you would need to bring on your trip besides your clothes. The beds were also very comfortable. My friend and I would drink our coffee on the porch in the mornings, it was so quiet and peaceful! I highly recommend the Peacock House! comfortable comfortable

Quiet Anniversary Get-Away

The property is awesome! The owner stayed in touch and the management has provided any and everything to guarantee a comfortable stay! We were so comfortable, we did not want to leave. We definitely recommend the location to others and we will be back in a few months. You will not be disappointed!

HIDDEN TREASURE

The Peacock House is tucked away in the beautiful hills of Wimberley. The house takes me back to the great summer vacations as a child at my Granny’s log cabin in the mountains of Tennessee. The house is cozy and charming. You will find everything you need there. We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay. My hubby and I had the pool all to ourselves and just enjoyed floating around and taking in the beautiful blue sky. We went on a walk down the long driveway and saw a fox walk right by us. If you want to get away from the hectic world, this is the place to go. Just a few miles down the road you will find quant little restaurants and shops and you can walk along the creek and admire the giant oak trees. Definitely go for breakfast at the Wimberley Cafe and dinner at Chili’s. You’ll love the food and the atmosphere. We would definitely love to go back to enjoy another wonderful stay at The Peacock House. We had the best anniversary ever. Thank you for sharing your little hidden treasure.

Nice and Quiet

Great getaway for us !! Very peaceful surroundings and the town of Wimberley is awesome. This property is located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for travelling to both cities and all the super cute towns in between. This is our second visit to the Peacock House -- we just love it ! The house has everything you need including wi-fi and satellite tv for rainy days . Outside firepit is really nice ! The entire back yard is fenced if you bring your pet. Carrie is wonderful to work with ! Would definitely recommend !!

The Peacock House was perfect again!

This was our second stay at the Peacock House and it was just as comfortable and clean as the first time. Everything you need is supplied, just bring food, which makes for easy packing. We love having the pool just steps away and the property is so peaceful. The manager, Arnold, answered a couple of questions right away and property owner, Carrie, is easy to work with. The Blue Hole makes for a great day of swimming and picnic. My grandkids loved it and did not want to leave. The Peacock House is a gem in the magical Hill Country. We plan on making this a yearly end of summer get away.

Secluded and Super Cozy!!

My partner and I had the most amazing stay! It was so peaceful and quiet. So close to Wimberly Square and the Blue Hole. It was clean and the A/C worked great. Cable worked just fine and so did the Wi-Fi. Only thing I didn’t realize was how close it was to the main house, but we barely saw the the family that stayed there and always managed to have alone time in the pool. For it being a small cabin in the woods, we had the most incredible time. We can’t wait to plan another trip in the future and stay here again. Maybe make it a yearly one thing! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful quiet retreat

I am in love with this place. The property was what I thought it would be from the VRBO add. Small 2 bdrm cabin, with a down stairs bedroom and a loft bedroom. A large bathroom/laundry room combo is off the down stairs bdrm. Fully stocked kitchen and Wi-Fi. Access to shared pool. The real wood paneled ceiling is gorgeous. Multiple outdoor seating areas included the pool area, front porch and back yard. I was in awe of a grey fox that wandered by one morning while I was having coffee on the front porch. I was looking for a quiet get away and this 100% fit the bill. Nothing but nature sounds and beautiful hill country. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Have to walk through a bedroom to get to bathroom

The two bedroom one bath is kind of a misnomer because the bathroom is only accessible by walking through the downstairs bedroom. We were supposed to have a friend stay, but she ended up getting a hotel because waking past my sleeping husband to go to the bathroom at night was too awkward. The upstairs bedroom has a very steep spiral staircase that would not be good for small children or older (50+ us) who could find the stairs dangerous. The downstairs bedroom had no room for luggage, so we had to put all our things in the bathroom. The bathroom is very large. Lots of hot water which was nice since everyone wanted to shower after the pool. The upstairs bedroom has a low ceiling that my husband bumped his head on the one time he went up. OK, so that being said, the house was cute, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small, but we made three meals there easily. Everything worked well, including Wi-Fi and TV. The pool is small but sparkling and clean. If you're floating, it doesn't matter how big it is. Again, the stairs were hard for older people. The deck is fairly high from the water, so it was not easy in and out for someone with bad knees. The house was very close to Wimberly and Blue Hole. It was not within walking distance, but it was an easy drive to everything. The scenic view from the pool deck was lovely, but we could not see it from the house or in the pool water. We did encounter the family in the other house a few times, but didn't feel intruded on.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The property has a very peaceful feel to it, I wanted it as soon as I first saw it; it took me 5 yrs to get it, but i did it!!! I love log homes, its 4.5 acres, very close to Wimb Square. Can sleep max 10 in other house vrbo # 411429, 4 people in this one.
