Casita B - Has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms Master bed - King,
2nd bedroom - has a comfortable queen. Casita's has a full kitchen, and open living room with a gas fireplace.
Wimberley is an international Dark Sky Community - star gazing can be amazing.
The Casita's are located close to market days, Blue Hole park, and fabulous restaurants.
The owners live on the gated property of 88 acres, but located on the opposite side of the property for guests privacy. You can go for a walk on the property and perhaps see Lucy and Ricky the donkeys or the herd of Nigerian dwarf goats.

Our family had a wonderful stay in this casita. It was perfect, roomy and a comfortable home away from home. We especially appreciated the safe location for our elderly parents. This property is not just beautiful, but clean and convenient to downtown Wimberley. Joan is a welcoming and responsive host as well!

This was our 2nd time to stay at this amazing casita. We had a girlfriends' weekend, and everything was perfect! We enjoyed our evenings on the front patio watching the deer - it's a great place to relax and recharge. We can't wait to return next year for our annual girlfriends' weekend! Joan & Blake are excellent hosts and provide a wonderful oasis for their guests. Don't pass up booking this fabulous property!

Serene casita, amazing views, incredible hosts

Cannot overstate how perfect this place was for a restful and restorative getaway. Hosts were so welcoming and kind. The casita is perfect with everything you’d need. The location is perfect and away from all the noise but also short drive into town. Lots of wildlife to watch and very welcoming goats! Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Peaceful and Scenic

Beautiful property, super friendly hosts and perfect accommodations! The evening visits from the "locals" that frequent the bird feeders and deer feeder were fun to watch. Highly recommend!

This was such an AMAZING property. Quite honestly, one of the best we have stayed in this far. The check in and communication was amazing! Beautiful

This is an absolute must stay. Quiet, serene, immaculate property. Host was very welcoming. Property is gated which is kinda awesome. No negatives to our stay. Was perfect for me and my snoring counterpart. He was impressed by how cohesive the atmosphere is. A little playful and very hospitable. I wish we’d had more time than a weekend to explore. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Home away from home!

The owner Joan was very communicative. We arrived early and were accomodated with an early check-in. Awaiting us in our Casita were snacks, bottled water, and a very sweet birthday gift for my son. Casita was very well appointed, super clean, tastefully decorated and met all our needs. We wanted to get away from the city and we found that here. New 65" TVs in each of the bedrooms made for relaxing evenings and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the deer and the birds feed near the house. Have plans on coming back for future spring times.

Impeccable

We have no notes. This property was the most beautiful, serene, and well-maintained of any we've ever booked. The location was so remote and quiet-it was just what our overwrought nervous systems needed. The kitchen was well appointed and full of supplies to support our cooking endeavors. The living room couch was extra comfortable, and the TV was huge. The bed was as comfortable as our bed at home (and we have a good bed), and the showers were phenomenal. Everything was pristine. It really was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reset. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We did not want to leave!

This has by far been our best VRBO experience yet! The Casita is brand new- on a ranch about 10 minutes from the town of Wimberley- in the country. Beautiful, peaceful setting far enough away from the main house- very private. The owner/property manager was very communicative and accommodating. They have chickens, goats and donkeys on property- our kids loved feeding them!!! Our stay was more than we could have asked for. We spent two days hanging out in Wimberley and one in San Antonio. The perfect design for a family trip- bring games, towels for swimming in the river (offsite) but everything else is there in the casita! We really can’t wait to return!

Quiet 25th Anniversary Escape!

This little Casita was totally stocked with all the necessities in the kitchen, bathroom and even in the linens and extra comfy blankets to wrap up in and just relax. The gas fireplace was perfect on the super cold nights. We were surprised with a bottle of champagne and Valentine/Anniversary balloons when we walked in! Such a sweet touch. The view from the couch looking out over the property and landscape was so serene. We were entertained by all the birds at the birdfeeder, the deer and even turkeys roaming around. The weather was absolutely perfect. The mattress was very, very firm. Not cheap firm. Definitely a quality mattress. Just extra firm and I personally don't sleep all that well on firm mattresses. Hubby had no problems with the mattress. Bathroom had all the toiletries you could need or want. I literally could have just packed a change of clothes and food and that's all we needed. Best communication from a host EVER! I'm certain we will be back to this home away from home!

Little piece of Heaven on Earth!

Nestled in the gorgeous hills of Wimberely is this little piece of heaven. It was with great anticipation we entered through the gates of the Lucky 13 ranch, once in we meandered through the winding (freshly paved) road to the casita. Once inside we were awed by contemporary design, attention to detail and every modern convenience. The bathrooms included large showers with rain head faucets and endless hot water! Exhausted after our long drive mom and I fixed dinner, took long showers and snuggled into our comfy beds. We slept like babies
so much so that the next day instead of going to Market Days we slept in, had coffee on the porch, made a late brunch and watched movies on the humongous 75” TV’s, one in each room! The casitas are set on 80 plus acres of some of the most beautiful land in Texas! The views from every window are spectacular, but the best are from the front porch
there you can relax and enjoy the vistas, abundant and beautiful birds, deer and other wildlife. I could write more, but I don’t want to give away too much. You must see and experience this little gem for yourself! Lastly, your hosts and Lucky 13 ranch owners Blake and Joan are just precious. They couldn’t be more accommodating if they tried. Two of the nicest peoples we’ve ever met!

Book Now - You Won't Regret It!

Our two-night stay at this enchanting Wimberley casita was fantastic! Casita B is beautifully appointed, and Joan & Blake are perfect hosts. The casita must be new – it's extremely clean & the dĂ©cor is tasteful & pleasing. Pictures on web site are accurate. There were even Christmas decorations scattered throughout the rooms. Yummy snacks & drinks were provided upon arrival & a freezer complete with round ice balls for those whiskey loving guests! Attention to detail is amazing. Kitchen area includes a microwave, toaster, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, dishware, glassware, silverware, numerous coffee & tea options. We loved the charming retro refrigerator & gas range – such a nice touch. Bathroom necessities/toiletries included blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion & even toothbrushes, toothpaste, q-tips, & cotton balls. Bed linens & bath towels are high quality, & the pillows are awesome (no waking up with a stiff neck here). Casita has a most relaxing den & sitting area complete with cozy fireplace. More than enough parking right next to the casita. We felt completely spoiled by Joan & Blake - they truly enjoy making guests feel special. They recommended great eateries & even called one owner to let him know we would be dining at his restaurant. We especially felt the love! Such a treat feeding their goats & donkey, too. What a fabulous place to stay! The next time we venture to Wimberley, we will book with Joan & Blake at their incredible casitas!

Wonderful!! Great location and easy access to the entire Wimberley area. Accommodations were immaculate and exceedingly comfortable. Family of four just kicking back, star gazing, and relaxing on the ranch. Loved the animals. Joan is a fantastic host and made us feel right at home! We hope to visit again in the near future.

This is Luxury living in Wimberley!! No detail has been spared to make the accommodations outstanding. I really enjoy hosting on our property as it is very scenic. I love to hike so I am trying to create a retreat environment for both families or couples. I created a mile walking trail in 2024. Guests can walk/hike a mile and even get a couple miles in walking the dirt roads on the property. Bird watching is amazing here. I have had several guests let me know they have spotted a "first" bird for them. We have 2 casitas next to each other so when one is booked... I automatically block the other casita to give guests complete privacy.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I chose this property and neighborhood because of the topography. The property is right in the middle of "Hill Country" so it has amazing views. This property is designed to have guests on the opposite side of the property away from our home. there are ample opportunities to get a stroll or a run in. The porches are beautiful to sit in the morning to watch wildlife while drinking a cup of coffee or a night cap before turning in for the evening.

We have a very couple or family friendly property. There are various activities to do right on the property. you can feed the goats and donkeys. We are happy to supply the carrots or apples for the animals. The animals are in a 15 acre pen so they will not bopther you at the casitas. You would never have to leave (except to get groceries). We also have a separate little well house that has a full size refrigerator and washer and dryer. Both Casitas could be rented for family reunions. Both Casitas together sleep 9 people.
