Enjoy a large bedroom area which includes a queen bed, chaise lounge chair, twin daybed with trundle, electric fireplace, flat screen television. The kitchenette/living area is separate with seating for 4, as well as a loveseat and flat screen TV . There are 3 rooms total.

You have access to the whole basement unit. You have your own separate entrance with a smart lock. Just an FYI, sometimes there will be other guests in the upper floors of our home as well.

This unit is fully renovated and is in pristine condition. Our goal is that you feel rested and rejuvenated from the moment you walk in!

- There is no thermostat in the basement, it is shared with the rest of the house & located on the 1st floor. There is an electric fireplace in the basement to provide extra heat in winter. It stays very cool in there in the summer, however we do offer a tower fan for guests to use that's in the closet to move the air during if desired.

Our basement unit is very comfortable for up to 4 guests (3 adults/1child). Please note that you may hear people walking around upstairs so if you need 100% quiet then this unit, as wonderful as it is, may not be for you.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
Cleaning Cost (if booking through Airbnb it will be collected through Airbnb "resolution" after reservation is made, based on guest occupancy and stay length):
1-2 Guests for up to a 2 week stay $89
3-4 Guests for up to a 2 week stay $99

Security Deposit: a $500 security deposit will be required/due 24-48hrs prior to arrival to cover any damage to the property during your stay. (Deposit must be paid prior to entering the house.) It is extremely rare that we ever have to ask guests to cover costs for replacement of linens or damage to anything, as most everyone is extremely respectful and conscious of how they treat things at our property. If anything is found to be damaged or missing during the cleaning after your departure, we will reach out to you to do everything possible to figure out a solution to what happened prior to furthing holding your deposit. If you don't hear from us in these regards, the deposit will be refunded 7 days after your departure. Reach out to us with any questions about this!

PET POLICY: we do not allow any pets.
SMOKING POLICY: no smoking / vaping / doing drugs anywhere on the property - not inside OR outside


** If we find that you have violated our pet or smoke/vape/drug policies, you will be responsible to pay a $2,000 fee. We are not looking to make money on fees, however from prior guests blatantly disregarding our policies we are left with no choice. Our goal and requirement is a smoke free property!

If you rent for more than 7 days, we should be able to get you access to washer/dryer. Just let us know if that's of interest!
