Historic cabin restored in a wooded setting- This cozy retreat features 2 bedrooms (in a sense), with a queen bed and privacy in one bedroom and a living room with 1 twin bed and a sofa bed. Also there is a full bathroom with a shower. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a washing machine/dryer, heating, and AC during their stay. A small pond makes for a perfect view off the large porch. The cabin was built in the 1860s in Iberia. In 2022 it was carefully dismantled, relocated and restored. It is now fully insulated with modern conveniences.

Visiting family for a funeral and the place was perfectly located. Pictures do not do it justice. This cabin was perfect for us. The cabin even had little odds and ends we may have forgotten. Secluded and quiet.

Great communication with the host before and after check-in. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and clean. We liked the big outside porch and how they identified the nearby trees with markers. The mattress was also very comfortable so we slept well. Overall, we had a great stay!

Lynne was such a perfect guest. We just put in a brand new water heater and she was kind enough to keep an eye on it to make sure the installation was 100%, no leaks, and plenty of hot water.

Cabin was clean, cozy and gave the feeling of outdoor get away. Cabin had special touches such as games and activities for all ages and a wonderful porch on the front and back of cabin for sitting and relaxing.

It was an awesome stay! We got the quiet cabin in the woods experience but still convenient to get to places near by for fun and food. The cabin is well taken care of. Everything feels old time authentic. I've already recommended this place to my other family members.

Anniversary Trip

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for just the two of us. Very clean and had everything we needed. The host did a great job of communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We plan on staying again.

This cabin is prefect for those looking for a quite location with all the necessities to make it so you don't have to roam far to enjoy all this place has to offer, from the grill and camp fires to exploring the surrounding area.

Loved this little slice of heaven! The cabin was super clean! Bed was amazing!! The aesthetic was very homey!! There were board games to play. Nothing beats a morning of coffee on the that porch!! And you are close enough to the lake without actually being at the lake. My family and I hope to return here. 10/10!!! It was unbeeeeeeeeliveable.

Girls’ Weekend

The owner, Wayne, was incredibly responsive, the property is freshly built/remodeled, and the location is a serene wooded area overlooking a small pond! My girlfriends and I spent a lot of time on the large front porch, and we will book here again!

I booked this cabin for my parents to have a weekend getaway. They enjoyed it so much. They enjoyed some of the old antiques that were there for viewing and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Wayne was very helpful, considerate and accommodating. Would reccommend for that need some time to get away.

Very clean and cozy cabin with thoughtful touches. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook up a feast (recipes on the wall for inspiration). Loved the vinyl records and the rotary phone. Also, the full size washer and dryer were appreciated. Internet was strong for work or streaming.
