The owner was very communicative about expectations and where everything was located, which we appreciated. House was beautiful and clean and felt very cozy. The hot tub was 104, as promised, and we really enjoyed our stay. I look forward to visiting again.

We stayed in February just to get out of the house and chill. This location was perfect, Great views, including sunrise. The large windows in the Master are magnificent. The fireplace and the hot tub were great amenities. It's been a cold winter so there was lots of ice fishing going on the lake. Pretty cool.

The lake house is beautiful. The views were amazing. We walked in and were very impressed by it. Quiet neighborhood. Bob was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Views

We had a very nice time in Bob’s beautiful house. It was the perfect Spring getaway. The views are amazing and the house was perfect for us.

Perfect location on the lake!

The home is spacious and the master bedroom has a great view of the lake. Only wish it had been warmer so that we could sit outside at night by the lake and savor the view.

Comfortable and spacious

Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was well equipped with everything we needed, spacious, comfortable and clean. The owner was very helpful and accommodating, great with communication. The house is located in a great area of the lake as well. We'd definitely try to stay here again if we come back to Lake Hopatcong.

Beautiful property located steps from the water. Very clean interiors. Porches, outdoor furniture need power washed. Game room is separate entry than main house...not ideal.

A great place to relax with family.

Just returned from this lovely home on Lake Hopatcong. Despite the stormy weather, our family's brief time at this lakeside house was made more enjoyable by the ample room we had to spread out, the cozy fireplace, hot tub and well stocked kitchen. And the view... stunning! Host Bob's attentiveness made check in/out a breeze. We hope to be able to return in the future!

Great house on the lake

Beautiful house on the water. House was clean when we arrived. Rented a pontoon boat for 4 days locally. Had our own dock. Had a great time! It's on the water and there are some steps to get to the water but, so worth it. Probably going again next year.

We had an absolutely fantastic week-long vacation at Bob’s beautiful home on Lake Hopatcong. Bob was a gracious and responsive host—truly a pleasure to deal with. The kitchen was well-stocked, and all the bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and accommodating.We especially enjoyed the hot tub, spacious deck, BBQ area, dining room, and, of course, swimming in the lake. We brought our waverunner and had a blast out on the water. One night we went out to Pub 199—highly recommend it!Most of our time, though, was happily spent at the house, relaxing by the lake and soaking in the incredible views. Our group ranged in age from 10 to 95, and everyone had a wonderful time! P.S this is a return visit for us as we previously rented from Bob!!

As soon as we arrived, we saw beauty. From the front porch, through out the amazing living room, the beautiful dining room, with a touch of perfection when you look and notice the impeccable kitchen, with everything one might need, from pots, pans, plates, silverware, tons more. Right of the kitchen, all I can say is "Ahhhhh" the balcony with a table with chairs. Breathtaking view. The deck is stable, A warm jetted tub, was just waiting to be relaxed in. There was seating down area with game room. The bedrooms were clean, beautifully decorated. Washer and dryer with detergent was very delightful.Ok, here it goes. Leaving the one of all my favorite places of the house. The Master - Huge .. The View - spectacular. In the morning throughout the whole entire day, into the night. AMAZING Did I mention Rob? No I haven't. He is a very thorough, and will be there from start to finish. If you really needed any assistance. So Thank You Rob, here is another for your hospitality. Highly recommend. Book quick, before I do again. Spread the word, fishing, kayak a boat.

Family Girls weekend

Beautiful view. Spacious. Kayaks for our use was awesome. Very clean inside. Issue with the slider from the livingroom to the deck was tough due to the fact we could not leave it open(screen was broken). If you own or have a boating license, its an awesome place because you have a lot of wonderfuloptions and owner gives you option to rent his. Surrounding restaurants (drivable) were amazing. We were able to walk to one which was a fun night out. Overall really nice place with great communication from the owner

A tremendously appointed mansion !!

The place was exactly as expected. I knew we would despise the area so we went when the weather would just be the last of summer.....it was a lakehouse near our city so we wouldn't have to take a long drive - we only have one driver = to enjoy a lakehouse. Lake Hopatcong has a long history of being an awful party area, being so accesible to New York City
