Updated Sunset Beach home w/ a 2-minute walk to the beach. Parking for 5 cars.

2-minute walk to beautiful Sunset Beach access, this delightful 3-bedroom house offers a soothing escape for guests. Parking for 5 cars onsite. With 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 1 futon, there's plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Included are all bed/futon linens, bath and hand towels(wash cloths) at no additional cost. All bedrooms have blackout curtains. The fully stocked kitchen includes essentials like teapot, coffee maker (that can make 1 cup K-cup type or drip coffe pot using paper filters), toaster, blender and large granite counter top for meal prep area. Private front porch and back deck. Enjoy the other amenities like Wi-Fi, 5 (Roku)TV's including one outdoors under house and a washing machine/dryer, making your stay comfortable and convenient. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, bathtub (primary has bathtub) and shower in each bathroom. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Outdoor gas grill for use. Beach chairs, beach buggy to carry items to the beach, beach towels, beach umbrella, boogie boards, pails and shovels. Gas grill available for guest use. 4 beach cruiser bikes you are welcome to use. Make your vacation one for the books with a stay at our place. 10 minute (1/2 mile) to fishing pier and beach stores. About 2 mile walk to Bird Island and the mailbox. Monthly rentals available November, December, January and April.

The house is just as described. The home is well equipped for beach enjoyment and family gatherings!! It is in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walk to the beach!! The owner made check in super easy as she contacted me the day before arrival with all needed information.

The house is spotless, close to the beach, comfortable beds and Joanie is guick to respond. The beach chairs provided were definitely a plus. The house is very comfortable with a large sofa and plenty of dining space. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Joanie’s property was very clean with modern and convenient amenities! The beds and large couch were very comfortable, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were spacious. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend staying here!

Best week of the year

This lovely property was just as described. All the rooms were spacious…perfect for large gathering watching NBA playoffs or hosting dinners. And what a treat not to have to make up beds after a long day of travel with young kids. All the beach equipment was great, as was the grill and kitchen. I’ll come back

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was much closer to the beach than it appeared on the map, and the boardwalk walk across the dunes was absolutely gorgeous. Inside, the home was spotless and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The furniture was cozy, the appliances all worked perfectly, and we spent countless relaxing hours on the screened front porch. Tucked away on a quiet road, we enjoyed plenty of peace and quiet with minimal noise, yet it was only a quick hop over the bridge to get on and off the island. We also loved being able to walk easily to the pier and "downtown" area. We would definitely choose this home again!

Thanksgiving at Sunset

Walkin' on Sunshine is a well-kept, beautifully maintained vacation home.Check-in was easy and the snacks were a nice surprise. We had lots of fun exploring the island on the complimentary bikes,spending time on the screened-in porch, and grilling out. The house is convenietly located to a beach access. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. Sunset Beach is a wonderful family vacation spot and we highly recommend this property!!

Exceptional and quiet

Joanne place is absolutely amazing!!! I am very picky when it comes to staying at vacation homes. This home is absolutely gorgeous and clean!!!! I mean it’s spotless!!! They have anything you can think of that you might need. They even left waters in the fridge and some snacks along with a very sweet card. Joanne goes way over and beyond. This has been the best place I have stayed at with VRBO! I loved it so much I’m coming back every year for a month until I move here.

Joanie, the host, was beyond responsive and her property is simply the perfect spot for a great stay at Sunset Beach! Joanie was quick to answer questions and help out with all needs. I can’t thank her enough for allowing me to stay at her property during Labor Day Weekend.The property itself was pristine and as advertised! The kitchen had anything you could need to have a successful stay. Each bedroom was massive with clean and comfortable bedding, although I only used one room! The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the living room was great for catching some opening weekend football games on the large television!Locationally, easy to get on and off of the island, which is a plus during a peak weekend. A short walk down to the beach allowed me to get on the beach in a more private area, away from the pier and crowds there. Joanie had an array of chairs and beach items, including a cart to make the haul easy … my nieces joined me, so carrying 5 chairs and other items down was a breeze!Thank you, Joanie, for having me at Walking On Sunshine!- Andrew M.
