Retreat to this casual, quiet Lakefront property nestled in a cove, only 25 minutes south of Charlotte and 10 minutes from Wingate University. This 3-bedroom house in Monroe offers a fully equipped Kitchen, WiFi, Washer & Dryer, gas fireplace and the serenity of Union County countryside. Home also includes a game room with retro arcade, ping pong and air hockey table. Enjoy the oversized deck for grilling, dining, lounging and a game of darts. Rustic fire pit for evening campfires, and large dock for fishing/sunning, Kayaks and Canoe are included during Lake Twitty's open season, (March 1-Nov. 1). Waivers required for watercraft. Lake Twitty is the water supply for Union County so swimming is not allowed. NO PARTIES, neighborhood very private and quiet, but come and enjoy the natural surroundings and all the comforts of home during your stay.

We had a great stay. The home is located in a very quiet area on the lake and was very nicely furnished and clean. We enjoyed some of the local coffee shops and restaurants in Monroe.

Cozy Lakefront Retreat

Wonderful property. Warm and cozy feel with beautiful views from house and large deck. Perfect location to relax and enjoy time with family as well as explore the area. Used as our gathering place for a golf weekend within easy drive to many area golf courses. Good time had by all.

Wonderful Stay on the Lake!

We had an amazing time at lake this place truly exceeded our expectations! The home was cozy, decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect right front of the lake.Our host Besty, was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had all the information we needed for a seamless check-in and stay.If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway, this rental is a fantastic choice. Wonderful!

We had so much fun on our mom getaway. The house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. There are many outdoor amenities. Sadly, it rained most of our stay so we couldn’t enjoy them, but we enjoyed sitting on the dock when we could, and relaxing by the fireplace when the weather didn’t cooperate. It was close enough to town that we were able to go exploring a bit. Betsy was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. We look forward to coming back again in the future!

Im an Air Force brat 😇 originally from VA Beach but have lived in lots of places. Settled in Charlotte to raise my family. Pretty much a football/boy mom whose world revolves around her boys.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Twitty Time has been our family retreat for several years. Avid fishermen in the family loved to get out of the noise of the city and chill on the lake with a fishing pole. I like to kayak, just out of the cove, where I float with a margarita and watch the sun go down. We've spent many evenings around the fire pit just enjoying the quiet. As my boys are older now and have other interests, it's become a pleasure to share the experience of Twitty Time with guests.
