Cozy Chalet in Charming Front Royal with Stunning Views and Refinished Basement!

Originally from Upstate NY, we fell in love with the mountains hiking in the Adirondacks in the Fall - which has since become one of our favorite pastimes! Our work has brought us to Washington DC, which we also love - but we have greatly missed what this new home has brought to us, a serene mountain landscape with all that the Blue Ridge mountains have to offer! We started hosting our house in DC without knowing too much about short-term rentals, but with great success as hosts and a love for the community it brings, we decided to use the platform again to present the mountain house and are super excited for all of the new experiences it can bring to our guests!

Historic downtown Front Royal is our favorite area, it has a preserved feel almost like transporting back in time, great shops, breweries, diners and BBQ - everything you need is right in town ten minutes from the property! We love Shenandoah National Park, which is what originally drew us to the area, there is so much to hike and a Drive on Skyline Drive will show you some of the most spectacular views around. We are close to restaurants and stores but our property is completely private it is the best of both worlds and offers the privacy of a secluded mountain house!

The A-Frame style to the back of the house has a view of the blue ridge mountains that cannot be missed! We have three separate large Balconies that boast terrific views all around. The structure of the home is built with actual trees in numerous spots which give it a rustic charm, but all of the rooms and materials are newer and feel very modern. We have wood burning fireplaces and furnaces, but also have high-efficiency central A/C and Heating. The Gameroom downstairs is our favorite area of the house, we have arcade style game systems, a ping pong table, darts and a large flat screen TV in our lounge area. There is a fire pit and a big back yard along with a grill and a fully stocked kitchen to entertain your guests and have a cookout if you like! There are no details spared in our space, we have carefully crafted each section of the house to help cater to everyone's needs, there is also a fully stocked game cabinet and book library if you are hunkering in for the night there will be plenty to do right at home!
