We invite you to spend a good night at our 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath rowhouse, just a mile
drive from the magnificent white dome, US Capitol! Nestled in the heart of DC,
commuters will appreciate the proximity to Union station and bus routes. You can also
take a 15-min walk to the Union Market District, which boasts an amazing selection of
food from deserts like Laduree Paris, to coffee nesters like Unido and award-winning
dining restaurants. Not to forget, you can indulge in some of the city's best shopping

Our beautiful home at NE DC is a mix of contemporary and comfort and is equipped
with all necessary amenities for you to enjoy the stay. Our open kitchen layout across

This was a very nice home in a nice area. The host was very responsive. We squeezed a bunch of us in (multiple families meeting for a stay in the city). We had the maximum number the listing stated. It was a little tight, but we enjoyed it. The kitchen and main floor were great for meal times. The kitchen had most all we needed. We were within a short walk to the bus and a reasonably short walk to the metro.

The place was clean and nice and spacious. Great location to get to restaurants and other entertainment. Easy check in/out instructions and the host was very attentive making sure we had all that we needed. Definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend to others.

Very Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed staying in this roomy very well equipped house. We enjoyed using the well stocked kitchen. Bathrooms were clean. The house is close to restaurants and stores. Only complaint is the pillows in our bedroom were too firm. We will use this house again when we come to DC.

Ideal Property for Party 0f 12

We are grateful to our hosts who made our stay very comfortable. We checked in quite easily and found the layout very easy for 9 students and 3 chaperones. Our party was evenly split between males and females so sharing the lower spaces for males and upper spaces for females was ideal. We really appreciated how easily we could get around to our excursions and meetings from this location.Our hosts were quite accessible and helped us out in one instance when we needed advice about garbage disposal. Overall, A great place to stay in DC!

Some things were good with our stay, but there were concerns, too. Our flight arrived 11/1 @ 1:30, the host agreed to early check in without charging an extra fee, but then the code didn’t work on the lock, so it took extra time to get into the house. Outside the front door, there was garbage spilling out of the attached garbage bin; this was not a good first impression. Initially, the internet/tv didn’t work but the host was able to talk us thru the process. When we tried to use the kitchen outlets, none of them worked; the host had someone come on Saturday night to address that issue; some worked then but not all of them. When loading our first dishes in the dishwasher, there was water in the bottom of it and there was a strong odor coming from it. We had to fix that. In the check out expectations, guests are to run the dishwasher before leaving; when the cleaners emptied the dishwasher, they should have addressed this concern. Also, there were 10 guests staying at the house but there weren’t enough coffee cups for us. Clothing was found under the beds in several bedrooms; the guests should check under the beds but if they leave things, then the cleaners should have found/removed them when they cleaned the house. The floors were dirty in several rooms/areas. When the first family member showered in the bathtub, the water did not drain, so they stood in several inches of water. The porch was nice, but several floor boards were loose on that. Close to shopping/sights!
