The space
Situated in the heart of historic Monteagle, Tennessee, this modern ranch house is minutes away from all the activities in town. Whether you are visiting a student at The University of the South, or wanting to host a weekend getaway, this house can do it all. Armed with a spacious entertainment area, a large kitchen, two huge porches, and plenty of yard space, this house is perfect for any and all guests!
This 4 bedroom house can accommodate up to 16 people with the amount of available beds and bathrooms. The master bedroom contains 2 queen beds, bedroom 2 has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed, bedroom 3 has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed, and bedroom 4 has 2 double beds. There are also 2 full bathrooms situated on either side of the house.
Monteagle is a perfect getaway town situated in a picturesque setting. Stepping right outside the front door lands you at the beginning of the largest trail in town, The Mountain Goat Trail. Finish up your hike right across the street at the historic High Point Restaurant. Whether you want to dine in for some fabulous food or take in the scenic trails, this house has it all!

Property is conveniently located in town and an easy drive to many sightseeing opportunities. 4 bedrooms all with twin queen beds sleeps plenty. Parking can be tight if you have multiple parties. Would totally recommend!!!

Great place to stay for our family, while we dropped our child off at Sewanee. Quick drive to the university, and plenty of places in Monteagle to visit. Will definitely return.

We love staying at this property (the sister property behind this one too). It’s close to everything and within walking distance of several restaurants - big bonus - they allow our dogs to join us too. The big front porch is great for early evenings.

House had been remodeled on the interior. It is VERY centrally located in Monteagle. We were a party of 6 and possibly 8. with a pet. It wound up being only 6, but 8 would have been very comfortable. Sometime during the night of our first night the circuit breaker tripped in the kitchen. They were VERY responsive and had us back up and running within 30 minutes of reaching out. I was extremely impressed. We definitely would stay here again.

The set up was great. There was room for everyone to sleep and be social. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed including coffee so we didn’t have to run to the store when we arrived. Great location, close to town and everything we wanted to do

Great location and open floor plan

We had a girls HS reunion and chose this destination for a somewhat central spot for all to travel. We had plenty of room for our large group, it was clean, plenty of parking, nice porch and patio options too. Lots of room to mingle and sleep and shower comfortably. We may book again!

The house was fine and the location was good. There were a few things that were not my favorite...i.e. transitions in the floors that became tripping hazards, proximity to the neighbor in the back yard kind of made the rear porch awkward to use, and parking was a little tricky with more than one vehicle. Other than that though it was great. The showers were great. It was clean. Beds were comfortable.

Great size space for our group. Good amount of parking. If you need to reach the host, use the app and not the email address stated in the check in emails. I had a couple issues I needed to reach them about and couldn’t get through until I messaged through the app. Then got an immediate reply but it was too late to address the issues and we had already checked out. We would def stay here again.

This spacious house was a perfect fit for our family and extended family. There is a large bedroom and bathroom on one side of the house as well as 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the other side of the house, separated by a generous kitchen, dining and living space. Each bedroom offered 2 beds which was incredible when our 3 year old woke up scared of a storm and was able to sleep in the spare bed in my husband and I’s room. You can appreciate the quietness of the street and secure feeling of the neighborhood.

Great place for a big group!

Great size, roomy kitchen, great double-sided breakfast bar. A lot of the beds are against the wall, so kind of awkward for two. The bathrooms were less accessible than we expected, but there is an entry ramp in the back. No drawers for unpacking, but closets in every bedroom.

This property was exactly as advertised in the pictures and more than suited the needs that we had for renting it. Kitchen was very spacious. We did have a couple problems that were not resolved, one that wasn't even acknowledged. There are LOTS of trip hazards going from room to room, especially dining room to living room. We put a chair in the way to remind my elderly parents of the step. There were LOTS of outlets that did not work all over the house, especially in the kitchen. This made keeping our Thanksgiving dishes warm in crock pots and on hot plates pretty difficult...we had to have things sitting on the floor near the working outlets. We messaged the hosts to see if we were missing something or if we could check an breaker panel..... messaged wasn't even looked at before we left 3 days later.... even though they say messaged are responded to 8am-8pm.Also the living room TV is a Prime TV that is signed into an Amazon Prime account. We couldn't log out or change anything because it required a PIN code. Hosts said they didn't have a code and told us to just sign out.... didn't reply when we repeated that was the problem. Just an fyi, the bedroom with 1 window runs much warmer than the rest of the house so put your cold natured people in that room. Overall we liked the place and enjoyed our stay, but would keep looking before settling on this place for a 2nd stay.

TV worked but we didn’t have the fire stick tv code to be able to stream YouTube tv. We were unable to watch anything on tv with the exception of YouTube (no YouTube TV) and no normal cable. Should have left instructions on how to operate tv. We weren’t there to watch tv, but it poured most of the day till time for the concert. Would have been nice if it had worked. Back door automatic lock was dissembled and laying on counter. Guy came and looked at tv and said he didn’t know code and could not help us but he did put new batteries in the remote which helped but still not able to get any streaming service to watch normal tv. He also fixed the back door lock. The tv in the master bedroom was not a smart tv and it had an hdmi cable hooked to the tv and it was just laying in the floor. No cable box. Floors in a few of the bedrooms needed swept and my wife thought some little black particles on the floor were from mice. Could be but we were there for only 1 night with a group of 8 so we just disregarded it. Comfortable and great place for a large group to congregate.
