Amazing location, a mountain paradise! We had a wonderful stay and George the property owner answered all our questions. Highlights included the screened in porch, upgraded kitchen, and wood burning fireplace.

Very nice mountain retreat with great views, relaxing setting & minutes away from the state park. The kitchen was fully equipped & bedrooms/baths were comfortable & clean. The host was very accommodating & called a few days before our stay to answer any questions, go over access/entry & review other particulars about the home to avoid any complications. He also checked-in during our time there to make sure everything was going well.

Beautiful Home in the Mountains

Thank you George for providing such a beautiful home for our pleasure. The layout of the home is fantastic! 3 big bedrooms! Beautiful kitchen. Comfy living rooms and we loved the fireplace!. Great screened in porch and large deck to enjoy nature. Outdoor huge firepit! Thank you for providing a quiet and peaceful stay!

Beautiful Setting

The house was comfortable and the location was great. We liked being in the woods and out of the way but it was an easy drive to Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park. The kitchen is large and laid out well. The property manager was responsive and friendly. The information about check in and check out times was different on the listing and in the follow up emails but we were able to get clarification easily.

So Relaxing

This home and property are beautiful—so peaceful and private. Beds were comfortable, the furniture was so nice and the kitchen met all of our needs. Everything we needed was at hand. We enjoyed the screened porch so much. We felt very pampered! Our group of sisters and friends gets together every year in Berkeley Springs and this home was absolutely the nicest place we have stayed. George was very accessible if we needed him.

Berkeley Springs Getaway

Beautiful house on a great lot, very well furnished with an amazing gourmet kitchen. Beds are super comfy! Easy to get to even off the grid and 4x4 recommended in the winter time. George was very responsive before, during and after our visit. He gave high recommendations and did not disappoint! Lot 12 public house was spectacular and so glad we made reservations! Would rent this property in a heartbeat! Thank you!!!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

Our party, 2 couples, went for the weekend and loved this house and location. Great communication from owner before and during the trip. Easy to reach and super nice when we had questions. Everything was just as described on the listing. The house and property have many options for gathering around a roaring fire, perfect for our winter visit. Big deck and screened-in section with a pub table. Kitchen well equipped. Loved the house layout and the cozy furniture. We would definitely return to this property!

Just amazing!

Just off the beaten path is this gem on the mountain. Clean, polished, equipped, and oh so comfortable. Internet was down, so my kids spent quality time learning to play chess, and ran around on the expansive lawn for fun. Wish the thermostat wasn't programmed (I could set it to 72 but a few hours later it reset to 75, 77, or 83 depending on the time of day). Minor issue in a week of wonderful.

hello , you should of called you can set your temperature to desired setting then place it on hold , sorry, there was a storm took a tree down the repairman was there Wednesday to fix it , ( nature )

Beautiful property

The location and the view was extraordinary, The house has great potential but was very dirty & crawling with insects. The hot tub was not usable- filthy with cold slimy water in it. The pots and pans and dishes in the kitchen we’re just filthy dirty. We had to wash everything before using. I spent an hour and a half cleaning the house before our friends arrived. It was a real shame ,we really expected it to be a repeat Destiination.

the hot is not for use ,its says it in the literature , it has been closed for 5 years , the pots and pans are for your use , each person is responsible for the washing of there own dishes

Great getaway!

We loved our stay at Berkeley Springs! George was great since before our arrival providing us with aall the information needed for the weekend. The house was very comfortable, the kitchen was spacious enough for all 6 of us to be there cooking and eating and the outside of the property is for sure magical! We loved every minute!

Perfect home away from home

The house is beautifully located in the woods. It is very well furnished with high quality furniture - comfortable beds, large screen TVs with lots of viewing options, plenty of cozy spots to curl up with a book, great outside seating options and a fully equipped kitchen. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and concerned about our stay. We absolutely loved the place and hope to return soon for a longer period.

Very cozy with fabulous location and view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was hard to tear ourselves away from the fireplace and cozy diggs to go into town. The view of the nighttime sky from the balcony was breathtaking. Super comfy bed and seating and great kitchen.

Privacy Concerns

The owner used a security camera to monitor. I would not have rented had I known that. Also, he never called with updated check in instructions, his cabin showed up in a pet friendly search when that was not the case, and the ad has old instructions that are not clear. I was sent to the wrong place. Would not recommend.

The add was clear , no pets , the camera was ring mounted on outside house, front door I saw 2 large dogs being led into house , I notified him he could not have pets in house , I told him he was welcome to stay but no pets , he decided to leave . I offered him another time they could use with not pets , I had spoke to them before they traveled and gave them the new check in code , they just forgot .

Great experience

Awesome location, the property owner clearly put a lot of love into the house. Everything was clean and it is probably the most well furnished rental I have been to. The owner was also very helpful and easy to communicate with. There are a lot of cool outdoor activities around (the state park is fantastic). Would highly recommend.

Great stay with young family

Our family (2 adults, 3 kids ages 6, 5, and 2) had a great stay at George's place. It was beautiful and well-appointed. The A/C worked really well, which was good, because it was the hottest time of the year when we were there. We had no problems finding it or getting up and down the mountain. The Wifi did not work great and cell service was spotty at times, but George warned us about that and it was not a big problem. Our kids ran around in the woods and we had a fire in the fire pit one night. A previous guest had even left s'mores supplies, which were much appreciated.

Nice view right in town!

The house is beautiful and you can tell alot of work went into the details. If you do forget anything, it is pretty much at the house. The beds were so comfortable, came home to order some toppers they used in the master. We had motorcycles and were lucky to find a neighbor at the bottom to let us park them there. The incline and the wash outs were a little worrisome but was told the road would be regrated shortly. The firepit outside was amazing and set up for us as well. Definitely a gem at the top!
