Magnifique maison de lac construite sur mesure sur une chaĂźne de lacs. Cette maison dispose de plus de 2100 pieds carrĂ©s d'espace de vie fini avec vue sur le front de mer et façade sur trois cĂŽtĂ©s de la maison! Cette propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e sur une pĂ©ninsule avec plus de 227 pi de façade sur le lac. Lovely, peaceful, well-appointed home on Grass Lake (literally just steps outside the door). Comfortable beds, excellent water pressure in the showers. We would definitely stay there again!

This beautiful lake house includes lots of great amenities that you will only discover if you make the effort to ask host Ted! Don’t hesitate to engage in a conversation about how to maximize your enjoyment while in Grass Lake! Inside the detached garage are 3 kayaks and lots of floaties that we never would have found if we hadn’t talked to Ted. And our favorite attraction in the area was most definitely the Arboretum, hiking trails and incredible Sky Walk at Hidden Lake Gardens.

The house was very nice and comfortable. The only downside was the water pressure was extremely poor so had to stager dishwashing and showers throughout the day. Did not do any laundry so don’t know how that would work. Parking was a bit tight but we made it work. Could use some instructions as to how the TV worked. Never got it working (not even the grandkids) but really didn’t need it. The outside property was very accommodating and the lake was great for boating and fishing. Could have used a few chairs on the balcony but the gazebo worked out great. I feel that the owner would have been very accommodating if we had the need to contact him. The Klimas Family

The sandy bottom swim area was perfect for our kids. The fishing along the canal provided hours of entertainment too. Loved seeing turtles, fish, frogs, sandhill cranes, deer.

Well equipped cozy home with room for our multigenerational family to spread out. Kids enjoyed being able to swim off the deck. Sunsets were spectacular. Check out process was easy. In all a relaxing family vacation as described.

Great property for family fun

We had an amazing stay at this home. It had plenty of room, the common spaces worked well and the outdoor spaces were fantastic! Enjoyed the fire pit and several beautiful sunsets!

Great property right in front if lake. Kayaks and boats to use. Rented boat and went to awesome sand bar to swim kids swam right of pier. We had a grear time. House soacioua and comfortable. Beds coukd be sifter

Trolling Wolf Lake

The house was as advertised. Clean, roomy, great views, nice deck, and nice gazebo. Owner had a canoe and kayaks on site, as well as a rentable pontoon. All of this made our family vacation much better than anticipated. Adults and kids enjoyed themselves immensely. Would definitely do it again.

Family getaway

Lovely view! Great layout, we rented a boat and used the float tube that is provided with the cottage, everyone had a blast tubing around for hours! the kitchen is large and well equipped, we had plenty of room even with ten people. The sunset views are the best!

Great Lake House

Property is located on Wolf Lake with water access to Little Wolf Lake and Olcott Lake. Butterfield's boat rental is a short walk down the road. This place checks all the boxes!

Wolf Lake Vacation

The property was a little smaller than I thought it looked from the picture. Took a minute to figure out how to get to the parking location for the property. Parking area was very small. Other than that it was a great house and we had a great time on and in the water. Accomidations were just right for our family.

Great Lake House

House was in good condition. Owner is the incredibly responsive to any questions. Owner was super accommodating. We rented a boat from Butterfield Landing and everything was extremely easy. Highly recommend this for several families with kids

Family Christmas getaway

We loved it! Kitchen area was spacious for family meals. Beautiful view. Great layout. We'd like to come back for a summer visit for water fun and fishing! It was a little difficult to find the driveway. The well water was a little difficult to get used to for us city folk. We felt bad we could not get the dishwasher to start upon leaving.

Great location but some power and maintenance challenges

House is in a great location and lake was lovely. Owner was easy to work with but we unfortunately endured a 36 hour power outage due to a large storm in the area. Owner brought over generator which was very welcome but it would only power fridge. It did not power the water pump due to problems with the switch on the water pressure pump and the ability of the well-used generator to crank up power to run the switch. It would also not power the water heater fan. Only itermittant water for 36 hours with 6 adults was a bit of a challenge. We appreciated the owners efforts to help but, given the rental cost, a whole house generator should be a consideration. Other small maintenance items like a shower not working, lights out, a slow calcium caked coffee maker and a number of wasp nests in the yard were also smaller aggravations.

Summer at the Lake

My family and I had a wonderful time! The location was perfect for swimming and fishing all day. And the house was great, and easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids. We also rented a pontoon boat from Butterfield's, which was very convenient and affordable. Overall, a great lakeside vacation!

Thumbs up!!!

Wonderful 4 days with family! Celebrated my FIL's 90th birthday with my husbands 2 brothers and wives. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. And having a 1st floor bedroom/bathroom was perfect for inlaws. Home was very clean and comfortable. So close to the water and beautiful view anytime of day. Loved sitting in the gazebo and watching the stunning sunsets. Rented a pontoon from Butterfields and enjoyed having itvdocked right at our back door. Already talking about coming back next year!

very nice

we enjoyed our time at this house a lot ! the kids keep asking to go back. the set up is nice. we enjoyed the outdoors, the fire pit, the gazebo, the dock, and the swimming area around the dock is quite good for kids (probably not younger than 3 yrs old). the lake is very nice. we enjoyed renting a pontoon and going around the lake and the sandbar. Ted was very friendly and prompt with his responses and tried to accomodate our needs.

Ted built this home for his family as a personal lake home but as the kids got older and moved out of state it lacked the attention it needed. Ted hand picked this property, floor plan, and details. He envisioned the perfect space for a waterfront home and brought it to life. It will be impossible not to feel the same vision Ted had when you walk into this home.
