Experience coastal Maine in this 4-bedroom cottage on Basin Cove on Harpswell Neck. This cozy historic home has a classic coastal Maine feel, and access provided to a shared dock with swim ladder. Relax and swim off the all-tides dock in the protected waters of Basin Cove. Take a walk to the Dolphin Marina or Erica's for local seafood. Nature lovers will enjoy watching bird watching from the living room or kitchen with a view over Basin Cove. Explore a number of beautiful natural spots nearby like Pott's Point, Curtis Cove, Lookout Point, and Mitchell Field. Enjoy paddling in the cove or adventure through the nearby Reversing Falls to explore Potts Harbor. Avid fishers will enjoy the chance to go for striped bass in the cove. A 20-25 minute drive takes you to Brunswick or Bailey and Orr's Island, each with numerous sight-seeing options.

We are new hosts, and enjoy the cottage, dock, and the front house with it. We are excited to share the property with others. We enjoy small boats, swimming, and walks in the area especially.

We first came to Maine to be closer to parents, and often would visit Harpswell to feel the magic of the Maine coastline. Turning town the bend and seeing Basin Cove was always special. A few years ago we decided to take the leap to make a move Harpswell. It's been wonderful to be in a natural and beautiful setting, and we enjoy having easy access to the many hidden gems in Harpswell, and Brunswick and Portland close by.

Our place has a great cottage/cabin feel yet it is a four-season house with a well equipped kitchen, ample space to spread out, four private bedrooms, and most of all, magical views and an all-tides dock that makes for easy access to the protected water of Basin Cove.
