Enjoy a peaceful stay at this rustic cabin in Eckerman. The cozy space features 1 full bed and 1 bunk bed, perfect for a family or a small group looking for a retreat. Adventure, relax, unwind and enjoy with that ole Grandpa camping feel. Located near Tahquamenon falls, Whitefish Pointe, Crisp Pointe Light House, Lake Superior, Iroquois look out, Brimley and the Soo Locks. Bring your OVR and go exploring.

The space:
🏠 Kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, can opener, dishes, silverware, sink (with wash tubs), percolator and cast iron pans for cooking on the stove or on the fire.

Cute Rustic Cabin

Cute little cabin in a great location! Had a great time relaxing by the fire and stargazing in the hammock. Had a great time in the perfect location spending day trips visiting all the great places in the area; Whitefish Point, Taquamenon Falls, Crisp point, the Two Hearted, Lakeshore Drive, and the Soo.

We had a great time at the cabin! The cabin and outbuildings were very clean. The sheets were soft, and each bed had 2 nice pillows. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of firewood and washing water. The host was very easy to communicate with and helped us with our questions before and during the stay. We had a tent next to the cabin and there was plenty of room. We saw a couple of owls and a million frogs, which my kids loved catching :) Note that the cabin is on a well-traveled road which we did not mind but some might be surprised that it is not particularly remote. Easy access to the "main roads" N/S and E/W which made the drives to Tahquamenon and Munising easy.

This cabin has a lot of character and charm. I loved it because it reminded me of going to deer camp with my Dad when I was younger. If you have nostalgia for rustic living in the woods and the smell of a wood stove, this cabin is an absolute nostalgia-filled joy to stay in. It's a great place to relive those youthful memories, even though it's not the same cabin I stayed in as a kid. Great place to play board games, cook over an open flame, sit outside and star gaze, enjoy the bird song of being in the woods, and unplug for a weekend. I fully intend to come back as long as this cabin continues to be available on VRBO.
