Welcome to Villa Escuela! New to VRBO but not new to hosting! Been hosting guests on the other vacation rental platform for 5 years, securing super host status with a 4.94 out of 5 star review (78 plus guest reviews). We are excited to expand our rental to the VRBO community! A Spanish Villa with an "Old Palm Springs" vibe. Enjoy a cool drink on the veranda with fans & misters. Cozy up at the firepit and soak in the mountain views. Do yoga or lawn games on the pristine large lawn beneath the surrounding palm trees. Lounge by the pool & spa followed by a rinse at the outdoor shower. Hop on bikes and head to downtown Palm Springs, less than 2 miles away. The 4 bedrooms are in their own separate wing away from the common spaces. This is one of the few desert homes that allows pets & early check-in & late check-out.

Steps away from hikes & views overlooking the entire desert valley. 5 min. walk to Margaritaville Resort, which hosts Splash House. 6 miles from Palm Springs Surf Club. 40 minutes from Empire Polo Club music venue’s Stagecoach & Coachella festivals.


CityID 665 We pride our home on being the perfect balance of relaxation and amusement. This home has the feel of a Spanish Colonial Revival with expansive rooms and common spaces. The four bedrooms are located in a separate wing of the home from the common spaces. You'll walk out into the wide-open veranda with Spanish style arches that outline the spectacular views of mountain scenery and desert sunsets. Lush landscaping surrounds the pool and spa that gives you the feel of a private desert oasis. Feel free to enjoy the warmth of the outdoor and indoor fireplaces, take a nap in the hammock shaded by palm trees, cool off in the pool or under the misters, sit in the spa and soak in the desert mountain views, explore nearby trails, or bike to downtown. Best of all, sleep in on your last day knowing you have the luxury of a later checkout.

Other things to note:

Cabana is temporarily not in use as it was damaged in recent storm this year 2024. Replaced with plenty of umbrellas.

There is a 3 night minimum. Rates may be higher for holidays, special events or high season.

There is a one time $450 cleaning fee. Refundable $300- $500 security/reservation deposit depending on length of stay. VRBO collect and holds the security deposit.

There will be an additional fee ($60) for your pet if you plan to bring your pet(s).

There is 24/7 video surveillance at the front door and driveway.

Early check in or later check out is allowed if the schedule allows. Please ask, we are willing to accommodate at no extra charge if available.

Check in is anytime after: 12:00 pm
Check out is anytime before: 12:00 pm

No refund will be given for early departures

Please let us know immediately if there are any issues with the house, pool or contents. Please remember that it is the desert and the heat and winds can be extreme at times. Please fill out guest form that is required by the city.

Guests must acknowledge these house rules (also listed in the House Manual in the home):
1. No parties or events.

2. Guests will observe quite hours between 10pm and 10am, and keep noise to a minimum at all other times. Palm Springs noise ordinances are Strictly Enforced.

3. Amplified music or sound is not permitted outdoors at any time, per city ordinance. Loud noise that disturbs neighbors may result in eviction and/or loss of all monies, and City of Palm Springs assessing a penalty of $300-$500.

4. No smoking indoors.

5. House furniture is not to be moved to the outdoor areas.

6. No shoes and no pets on indoor or outdoor furniture.

7. Please no wet towels or sitting with wet bathing suit on the indoor furniture.

8. Bath towels are not to be used for pool/outdoor use.

9. Please be cautious when using the pool area as the tile and surrounding walkway can be VERY slippery when wet.

10. All household items belong to the homeowners. Any missing items will be taken out of the deposit.

11. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed.

12. Limit pet access to the tiled areas.

13. Pick up after your pet, please. Excessive damage or additional cleaning will result in possible additional fees.

14. Dogs on leash in the neighborhood at all times and pick up after your dog in the neighborhood, per city ordinance.

15. Guests should control the barking of the dog.

16. Parked cars are not to block the driveway entrance.
