With 2 king beds and 2 bunk beds (2 twins over 2 fulls), this wooded retreat offers a peaceful space for guests to unwind. There is fairly flat parking right in front of the house for 2 cars (no RVs or trailers) and 6 stairs lead up to a large, front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails. This 2-level home has one bedroom with a king bed and a separate bathroom downstairs with another king bedroom, bunkbed room, and separate bathroom with dual vanity upstairs. Both bathrooms have tubs and showers. In addition to a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, there is a cozy living room with gas-log fireplace, dining area, laundry area with washer and dryer, and well-stocked kitchen. The back door from the kitchen leads to a deck with a grill and bistro set where you can watch your children and/or dog in the backyard enclosed by a 6 ft high chain-link fence. (Please pay pet fee for your dog(s).) The living room and all bedrooms have HD Smart TVs where you can access your subscribed apps through your own account in guest mode. Make family memories playing games by the fireplace or relaxing by the outdoor firepit. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at The Shady Chalet.

Important notes:

**Guests should read the uploaded rental agreement before booking. **

*You may hear the activities at Tweetsie including the train whistle while outside.

*AWD or 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended for winter months (Nov-Mar).

*The road in the neighborhood is ONE WAY. Please pay attention to the signage.

* The speed limit in the neighborhood is 10 mph. Please do not drive faster than 10 mph when in the neighborhood.

*A camera is placed on the front of the house pointed toward the driveway for security purposes. This helps us monitor any bear activity at the trash cans as well.

*There is a $100 pet fee (flat), and we allow up to 2 dogs, no other animals. NO dogs allowed on beds or bedding.

Sleeping arrangements (sleeps up to 8):

Downstairs: King sleeps 2 (blackout curtains included)

Upstairs: King sleeps 2, 2 bunk beds (twins over fulls) sleep 4 (blackout curtains included in both upstairs bedrooms)

**Pack and Play provided for babies. Please bring your own sheet(s) for it.**

*Check in is after 3pm est.

*Check out is by 11am est.

Check-out instructions:

Leave used beds unstripped. Don't remake them. Just roll out.

Please put all used bath linens in bathtub.

Clean all food out of the refrigerator.

Load and run the dishwasher.

Take trash to cans out in the wooden structure at end of driveway.

Check for valuables and chargers.

Close all windows and lock the front and back doors. Thank you!
