Remember this is in the mountains it is best to have a vehicle with AWD because the roads are very narrow and on an incline My host thought of everything so I over packed she even had a cast iron frying pan in the kitchen. I bought my own kitchen wear but I didn’t need it because she thought of everything the coffee station was stocked and she had a s’more kit by the back doorI bought my own towels but my host was on it there were towels for my bath and for the hot tub and one day I stayed in and just took in the beautiful nature that evening the game cabinet was fully stocked,,she thought of everything I can’t wait to visit another one of her properties this was amazing.Note: cooking on a real chefs stove was a dream come true

Beautiful location. Lovely scenery in the mountains. Well stocked with all necessities for a lovely 5 day vacation. Parking good for 2 cars. Large SUVs not as good for parking. But my Toyota Crown SUV and my sister’s Subaru Cross Trek were fine.

I love this cabin. It's got the real cabin feels with wood walls and ceilings, a little creak to the floors, which i love. It's clean and extremely well kept, and has everything you need. The bed. Ohhh the bed. I haven't slept that good in years. The host gives you all the info upfront, and details on what you need to know about the property, and is extremely quick in responsiveness and handling any question or issue. She's fantastic. Plenty of space, roomy kitchen, multiple outdoor areas to enjoy. It's a quiet peaceful area, driveway needs 4wd. I would 100% come back here again.

Everything about this cabin was perfect. The host was friendly and accessible. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. You can and feel all the thought and efforts put into this cabin to ensure guest enjoy their stay. We will definitely come back.

The cabin was so charming!! Just as described in listing. Close to everything. Hot tub perfect for 2 people. Host was very responsive. Will be visiting again.

The main floor of this house is very nice; kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs twin beds, small room. The negative for us was that the third bedroom was on the bottom floor only accessible through an outside entry which made us feel separated from the rest of the family upstairs. The apartment was old with a bad smell, needs to be remodeled. The bed down there was comfortable and the AC worked well. It was also clean.

Diane was an excellent host and we enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well-appointed cabin despite a weekend full of rain that cancelled our outdoor plans in the area. We enjoyed the well-stocked coffee bar, carefully selected books found around the cabin, the fireplace (instead of the fire pit), the sound of rain on the tin roof, and the rockers on our covered porch. Beautiful mountain setting even with fog and rain. Definitely want AWD or 4WD for easier time of road and driveway.

Tucked away on a quiet road, was very cozy and beautiful. Had all the basic amenities stocked for a comfortable stay. Even got greeted by a local friendly sweet pup during our stay!

Such a cute cabin! We came for a hiking trip and this cabin completed our mountain escape. The outdoor string lights were inviting on approach, the coffee/tea bar was stocked and even a smores kit awaited. We loved the gas fireplace and cozy blankets and couches for the cool nights, and the bathrooms/appliances were nicely updated for a cabin home. Two deer enjoyed their breakfast outside the kitchen windows as we enjoyed our morning coffee. The hot tub was perfect for after hiking. This cabin is the perfect combination of mountain cabin vibe with updated, well cared for amenities. Value was perfect! Very close to Boone downtown and Blowing Rock Main Street. Highly recommend and will stay again.

The house is adorable with everything needed for your stay. The owner is very attentive and 100% aims to make your stay perfect. We stayed for 16 days and the stay was perfect.
