Bonita Apartment is a one-bedroom apartment in the premier gated community at Lake Arenal—Vistas Del Lago. Surrounded by jungle and with a creekside lot, it offers a peaceful retreat from life's worries.


We love to meet our guests; however, we respect your privacy preferences. Please let us know if you prefer a self-check-in and messaging service rather than an in-person meetup. This is your vacation, and often our guests are tired upon arrival after a long travel day, and all they want to do is get in the house and relax (perhaps with a beverage :) )

You will have full access to the apartment and a private balcony. Please note: a separate rentable space is adjacent to the apartment with a separate entrance and parking area. Guests may or may not be staying there during your stay.



This spacious apartment offers stunning views of the jungle and is located next to a beautiful, flowing creek, attracting a variety of birds and wildlife. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals with ease. The bedroom features a super comfortable queen-size bed, with views of the lake visible right outside the window. This property is located just a one-minute walk from The Hive, our community gathering center and pool.

A vehicle is absolutely recommended should you decide to visit us. However we have had guests who came without one and we can recommend driving services to get you out and about as needed.

We are only 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, with the prettiest park in Guanacaste, where you can find everything you need including, a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor, 2 restaurants, and for those looking for the nightlife, there is also a bar.

An easy 1.5 hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3 hours from San Jose. If arriving in San Jose with less than 3 hours of daylight we recommend that you stay over near the airport and get a fresh start in the morning. Most of the roads are paved however not well marked and there are lots of twists and turns.

We have plenty of parking area.

Our HOA has instituted some security protocols for your protection and our owners' protection. We require a photo of the photo page of your passport to pass to security for your initial entry. Please pass this along as soon as possible.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign and agree to our rental conditions.
