Great place to stay close to many attractions and stores. Clean and cozy home. The host was very responsive and made many helpful recommendations of things to do in the area. The only slight downside was the street noise at times.

An amazing property that is very clean with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Location is great with a beautiful view of the volcano right out the front door and conveniently located next to Soda La Palma (great little soda with good food and prices) as well as a market. Jimena made the check in process very simple and was responsive to all questions. Would highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable. The soda next door is good for a quick bite (make sure to go and visit their donkey Balu in the garden). Road noise is pretty consistent so bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Close to everything in La Fortuna area.

Wonderful location!!

Absolutely fantastic place! Views are exceptional. Location very convenient. Comfortable beds. Friendly host. Only issue was the difficulty of finding the place in the dark.

One Word - Arenal Volcano

There is no better view of the volcano than at this property. It is right next to a soda, so easy to get food. The cabin was upgraded, and had everything you needed for a night in or just a pass thru. Close to all area attractions. Hosts were super helpful in giving you local gems. Would highly recommend!

This is a small house consisting of a single spacious room (or you could say a very open floor plan) with two queen beds, a kitchen and a dining area. The front of the house has a large outside covered area extending over the driveway, which is convenient for loading/unloading the car, especially during the rainy season. The property location is very convenient to many restaurants as well as hiking areas and hot springs/spas. The photo of the property shows a great view of the Arenal Volcano. Unfortunately, it was obscured by clouds during our entire stay. Given clear weather though, that view is another reason to recommend the property. On the slightly negative side, I would have preferred that the house be located further from the main road, as there was some traffic noise at night--not so much that we were kept awake, but it would have been a bit more pleasant not to hear motorcycles and trucks late in the evening. If you are looking for a small, clean private house meeting your basic needs at a very reasonable price and with a convenient location, I would recommend this property.

Arenal Stay

We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu the donkey and Chocolito the cow. The place is also very centrally located in town and made it very convenient to get places.

Cute property near all the fun

Small property that worked great for two adults and two small children. Put us closer to Mistico bridges and zip lining. Small kitchen worked for cooking very basic meals. The restaurant next door was great for lunch. The market, however, only has snacks/drinks and not the basic necessities. Close to main road so expect to hear traffic

Absolutely loved this stay as our first stop on our Costa Rica honeymoon! It exceeded our expectations all around with it's check in process, cleanliness, host thoughtfulness, and proximity to things. The beds were comfortable and we loved having our own place/space but knowing the host is around (their home is set far back on the property). Jimena was extremely responsive throughout our stay for questions we had about the La Fortuna area. Loved having coffee on the patio in the morning among a ton of lush, tropical plants! There's Soda La Palma right next door (excellent food and atmosphere), an ice cream shop and small store for anything you may quickly need. In addition, across the street, there's a roadside stop with grilled meats/veggies. The location is also directly in view of Arenal volcano (it was a cloudy, rainy weekend we were there, but I could see how amazing the view would have been if not cloudy). It's also a short drive (less than 10 min) to everything in La Fortuna town. And plenty of coffee shops, etc along the way. Overall, loved everything and if we come back to La Fortuna someday... we will be rebooking this stay. :)

Fantastic place!

This place was perfect from what we wanted with location to activities and to the soda which was a 30 second walk and a good breakfast option. The owner was incredibly responsive- within minutes. (Thank you for that!) It was clean and had all the right amenities…. We even had a visit from a tiny wee salamander one morning which was cute! He also patiently waited while we gently caught him and put him back outside lol…. The sofa next door has a wonderful garden complete with beautiful song birds hummingbirds and butterflies, complete with a cow! Great spot and what a VIEW! Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Thank you!!
