Summary:

This Austin Retreat is made up of 2 homes. With a total of 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, this home is great for groups!



The Space:

You'll be just 3 miles from Downtown Austin and within walking distance to numerous local restaurants! 1st street offers numerous local eateries from Tex-Mex cuisine to charming cafes. Don't forget to try the famous Texas BBQ while you're here! Take a short drive or Uber ride to Downtown Austin and explore the historic culture of Texas.



Both units have their own living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Each unit has a charming living room with a couch and flat screen TV.



The living room welcomes you with colorful and stylish decor throughout. The couch is situated in front of a flat screen TV. The upstairs deck is charmingly decorated with a BBQ grill and seating, great for the warmer days! Both kitchens come equipped with a drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, and much more to make you feel right at home!



The enclosed backyard is perfect to run around in! A gas BBQ grill is available for you to grill up burgers in the warmer days. An upstairs balcony with patio furniture is available in the 2nd unit.



The 1st unit has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a King bed, TV, and has its own en suite bathroom. The en suite bathroom has dual sinks and a standing shower. The other 2 bedrooms both hold Queen beds. There is a full bathroom available for guests to share.



The 2nd unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The main bedroom holds a Queen bed and en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom similarly has a Queen bed. There is a shared full bathroom on the 1st floor.



Stay cool with central AC and a washer/dryer are available for your stay! Parking is available in the driveway and street.



THINGS TO NOTE:

- There are Ring doorbells attached to the front doors of both units - the cameras audio/video records for security purposes.

- Neighboring property currently under construction.



Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee.



Other Things to Note:

This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

We had a great stay. The check in process was easy, the host was extremely responsive, and we had more than enough room for everyone. We had a little trouble with the air conditioner at the one house but overall it was a great experience!

Perfectly located and all the beds were extremely comfortable. The houses provided ample space and were extremely clean. Would recommend to groups staying in Austin!

Family wedding

We had10 adults & the location was perfect, only 1.4 miles from the wedding venue on South Congress. South Congress also entertained with great shopping & eateries. So much activity within a short distance. Thank you we were so comfortable & all loved it!

The place looked beautiful upon arrival. However, there was one hanger per closet ( most were wire dry cleaner hangers). The facilities and accoutrements were sparse and the couches very uncomfortable ( both needed replacements). The towels were mismatched and insufficient in quantity ( needed to request more than the leas than one provided per guest). We were there for a formal family wedding and felt like the preparation of the space was for a sorority overnight. Little attention to detail ( the iron, while functional, was broken physically.)That said, the management was responsive and friendly. I would stay againThe location was great and like I said, hosts were responsive.

The location was great but that is where the positives end. The bedrooms are TINY. If you think you’ll be able to fit a pack n play anywhere other than the master, you’re mistaken. There wasn’t a drop of hand soap anywhere in the house. The towels were a mismatch of basic rags to something with substance. The second house had bugs
multiple guests staying there were bit by an unknown species. The “rug“ is a match of individual tiles on concrete floor that slide constantly because there is no anti-slip mat underneath them. The pillows were like air and the sheets felt like plastic. We spent nearly 4k for 5 nights
if I’m paying an arm and a leg to stay somewhere, I expect it to be comfortable, not feel like a corporate money making venture with cut corners.
