Counter space is limited, but the kitchen is well stocked for simple meals. The loft was much more spacious than we anticipated based on pictures. We were very comfortable. Great locatiom within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the farmer's market.

The Spinnaker Studio was super clean and *perfectly* located. It was so fun to be within walking distance of everything in town. All of the amenities were provided and it was tastefully decorated. Our only complaint was that the bed was SO soft. It had no support and was like sleeping in Jell-O or quicksand. It's a lovely, inviting place but beware if you have back issues.

We only stayed one night but loved staying here. We both had the same reaction as soon as we walked in, “Wow! This is so nice!” It was a lovely spot for our night there. Plus the location is amazing. If you want to be right near all the shops and restaurants in Eastsound, this is the place for you!

The studio was light and airy. I loved the blend of modern design with traditional, cozy quilts. The property was conveniently located in the middle of Orcas so it was easy to get to Moran State Park or Turtleback and Deer Harbor. As the loft was located in downtown Eastsound it was an easy walk to restaurants, galleries and other shopping and the sound behind the property. 5 star in every respect

Excellent location! Room included everything we needed, fully stocked kitchenette, duo garbage/recycling can, decent shower head and load/unload parking at the door, with plenty of free parking a short block away.The room is located over a very cool art studio, Forest Ceramic. Spoke to the owner, from Bulgaria, ended up buying several pieces, to remember our trip to Orcas Island. The weather app threatened rain, but the sun was out both Saturday & Sunday!

Perfect getaway

Susan was very responsive and flexible. The apartment was spotless. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was stocked with essentials. The location was perfect for early morning walks with our dog and tons of shopping and restaurants. And the bed was so comfortable and had quality linens.

Hiking adventure

We really enjoyed staying at Spinnaker Studio. We loved the central location, the walkability, use of the laundry, and the open living space. Hiked in Moran SP 4x with the dog. Very relaxing and restful vacation. Lots of fun!

Easy and perfect location

It was perfect for our one night stay. Yes, it was noisy with the windows open in the evening but only until 9:30 pm probably. Bed was nice, kitchen well appointed, nice bathroom.

Open floor plan appeared spacious, and a well equipped kitchen with coffee provided. We enjoyed the faux balcony door that looks out to the street, and the various shops, bakeries, and restaurants within walking distance.

Location Location Location

This property is right in the middle of the Eastsound community. Shopping, dining, and breath taking views are right outside the door. Clean well organized space. Only drawback was that the delivery trucks were a little loud in the morning.

We have been on Orcas Island for many decades (in fact Wally grew up here!), so are long-time locals. We can suggest not only the most popular travel adventures, but will also share little know gems on island backroads.

We purchased this property for love of the historic Porter Building, located next door. For years this portion was vacant, occupied by a parking lot and dumpsters. We dreamed of beautifying the shoreline, dedicating a beach access to the public and building stairs to the water. At last we've completed our vision, completing the 'Main Street Station.' SeaStar Lofts fulfills our dream of welcoming others to our favorite place in the world. We've tried to supply our guests with all we personally look for in fine travel accommodations.

As we mention above, these are the only accommodations located on the actual shore in Eastsound Village. We provide a full living experience, with kitchens, washer/dryers, and everything you need for either a short visit or extended stay. Every convenience is just steps away, yet you can access the beach right next to the building to enjoy the beautiful views and abundant wildlife.
