We were celebrating our 45th anniversary and stayed at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a very artistic manner. It is well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Only caution to mention is that the steps up to loft bedroom are very deep and could be difficult for some.. but certainly is by no means a negative.. the cottage was fabulous!

The cottage is a gem. It's full of character; central casting for an cosy, old fashioned summer cottage. It's a skip and a jump from all that Wellfleet has to offer. The surrounds offer complete privacy always quiet and just lovely. If possible, we'll definitely return next September. Thank you, Maggie and VRBO.

Great stay in Wellfleet

The cottage was just as advertised -- exactly what we expected! Beautiful yard and road, great to be able to walk into town.

A charming and well appointed cottage with a lot of character and interest; also an excellent location, steps from the town center, Uncle Tim's bridge and Commercial Street. We would note that agility is required to climb and descend the steep stairs to the loft; also that the rail running up part of the stairs needs to be extended upward to make it easier to reach when descending. Otherwise, the contents of the cottage were well thought out, comprehensive - and everything worked. The outside dais was very pleasant, noting that the natural garden could do with pollinator plants that offer more of a range of color.

Location. Location. Location. It was perfect, with walkability to town and bay and easy access by car to wonderful Oceanside beaches and restaurants. Pluses on the house: clean, neat, comfortable. Well appointed kitchen — everything we needed. AC did the job when we needed it. Grill was nice to have. We like to do puzzles on vacation so a card table would be useful. Negatives: while we loved the natural yard and the smell of herbs throughout, it was a bit unkempt and overgrown to truly enjoy the patio. Overall a terrific experience and would certainly consider renting it again in the future.

The Cape!

Comfortable house. Nice converted sleeping porch and comfortable main bedroom. Upstairs bedroom stairs do require some flexibility (or shorter adults) Easy walk to town and nearby harbor. Well stocked kitchen. Would stay again.

Perfect Couples Retreat

This cottage is the perfect couples retreat. While close to the village center and a short walk to the harbor the locations offer privacy for rest and relaxation, while close to restaurants and shops.

Wellfleet

This cottage is a delight all we needed for two people! We spent some time outback on the porch enjoying the sunshine, and while we knew neighbors were near by we felt quite secluded! Wellfleet itself is a great location for Cape Cod, the town is quaint, there are plenty of restaurants and beaches and you can easily travel up or down the island!! PS- We were there 9/7-914 so there was least traffic but ran into a few places that were closed for the season or weekend only.
