Our stay was great. Air conditioning would have helped on the humid days. The house description included that it was handicap accessible. Ramp is too steep, no handrails in the bathrooms, and also no handrail leading to the sunken living room.

We had a great long weekend celebrating a 50th birthday. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed afternoons in the hot tub and evenings by the fire pit or by the fire in the living room. Beds were comfortable. Will definitely be looking to book again but bringing our teenage children to enjoy the lake and area.

This house was perfect for a larger group of friends. Plenty of beds, a roomy living room, and a fire pit out back. Was a short ride into Scranton and breweries. You will have to bring your own sheets, towels, and toiletries though, but they were upfront about that. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This Poconos house was an excellent choice for our family trip of 11 people. 6 adults, 5 teenagers and our Bernedoodle. The house was nestled in the woods on a river between two lakes. The shade of the pines kept the area and home nice and cool. The house does not have AC but really not needed. There were plenty of ceiling fans and floor fans if you needed them. The house was very spacious and had a newly updated kitchen and newer floors. There was plenty of games, cards and books available to use. The walk out basement was a haven for our teenagers. Pool table, ping pong, basket ball shooting games, darts and a foosball table were available for the kids to play. As well as a tv that our kids easily set up an xbox on. The walk out basement led to a large, clean hot tub and a nice fire pit area that we used several times. 3 full bathrooms with jacuzzi tub and sauna in the master. Laundry facilities in the basement bath was a nice amenity cause you know, kids. There is a huge back deck that is large enough to set up corn hole and a nice grill to use. One of the best part of renting this home the amount of wild life we saw every day. Pretty much had coffee every morning with the locals (the deer). The surrounding area had plenty for us to do and many places were dog friendly. The owners were very quick to respond from start to finish of our vacation. We would definitely go back!

The house was very nice! Host very attentive! A few things needed some attention like light bulbs needed replacing, front porch light sensors need to come on faster, hot tub water was dirty and unfortunately our last day we found bed bugs!

Heather - after receiving your call we immediately called Terminix to come in to assess the house. They reported no evidence of any bedbugs (dead or alive). Out of an abundance of caution we requested they treat the house anyway. We also replaced all bedding including mattress and box spring protectors. We sincerely apologize for any discomfort you experienced.

Fun House!

This house was awesome. Spacious for everyone, full of fun activities, and a great place to stay for the weekend. We went for a bachelorette weekend and it was nothing short of a great time!

Lovely stay

The property is lovely and nestled in the woods. A short walk down to the water which is perfect for kayaking/paddleboarding. The owner is very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely stay!

Such an amazing property... great cottage feel, had everything we wanted, plenty of space, lots to do! Really nice to be able to use the community pool as well. Would definitely book it again.

Easter getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the pocono home. The house was very spacious for 9 adults. Love the availability of the kayaks and canoes. We all had alot of fun on the water. Nights were spent around the fire pit watching the wildlife.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The location is quiet and the house was a great size for our family. Plenty of games, and indoor activities! The owner was very helpful and communicated with us. Beautiful location and we were visited by a few deers in the morning! I would definitely recommend this house for families

Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. Having use of the boats and kayaks was a huge plus. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub as well. Easy communication with the host was a plus. Highly recommend.

Great House!

Big house with plenty of space to spread out for our group of three families. Convenient drive to Montage Ski Resort. House is well stocked with games and plenty to do with the pool table, ping pong and hot tub. Owner was very responsive which made for a relaxing trip. Highly recommend!

This property was amazing. 10 out 10! The jacuzzi was at 100 degrees on arrival. The fire pit and Lakeside property was amazing. More than enough space for a big family. The indoor fire place made the experience feel great. The indoor game room was great for family bonding a lot of board games as well. This property was a top pick for us because my sister in law is in a wheelchair. They did have a ramp to get into the main house with access from the outside screen room. You do have to bring an extra ramp to be able to get into main floors. Part of first floor is wheelchair accessible along with the dining room ,kitchen bathroom and three bedrooms on first floor, sunken living room is not.Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 with great communication from the property host and also they made recommendations on different things and amenities to enjoy while staying in their home. I would definitely recommend this for anytime of the year.

House made a rainy vacation a success!

The entire family had a great time. The accommodations were spacious and perfect for everyone from an infant to a great-grandmother! We were surprised at first that there was no air conditioning, but the fans and beautiful wooded lot made everything very comfortable. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Family Christmas gathering in the Poconos

Layout was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 children 3 and under. However, the property itself is very dated and seems like very little has been done to improve it over the years.
