Very clean and great central location to explore Orcas Island. Host was easy to work with and home was well stocked with all the basics. Loved all the games at the house and access to the private beach was a great place to start the day with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, super comfortable for a family. You can't beat the location, quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes from downtown Eastsound, making it easy to pop in for meals and shopping or head out to explore the island. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with a pet!

Loved the property. Beautiful garden and nice forest views, short walk to a beach where you can see otters! Loved the big yard and fun yard games! We had everything we needed and would love to come back.

Very clean and centrally located on the island, so close to restaurants, shops, hiking etc. The ping pong table, pickle ball court, and beach just up the road gave us things to do when we were at the house.

Great relaxing getaway

Our family of 4 loved the house & the area. Great amenities with ping pong, Bluetooth sound system, TV, pickleball nearby, & a beautiful garden to read & relax in. We love Orcas Island, and this house made our stay extra special.

3rd time staying here and it was great, as usual. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with the essentials, the yard is great for relaxing and playing with the kids and proximity to the beach down the street is always a plus.

My wife and I love Orcas Island. On this visit, staying at the home on Fossil Way made it even more special. First, Kristen is a fantastic host and a prompt and helpful communicator. Second, the house and setting are both superb, quiet, and serene, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to groceries and other amenities in Eastsound. This a single story home, with an open floor plan spanning a small living room, dining area, and kitchen, two adjoining bedrooms with Queen beds their own bathrooms (one includes washer and dryer), and a large separate den with TV, ping pong table, and two single beds. Everything in the house, including appliances and kitchen items, was top notch.The property has large front and back yards; the front yard has a beautiful garden with pathways around the plants. My favorites included the New Zealand shrub topiarist's hebe (Veronica topiaria). Other plants in the garden include flue fescue, columbine, geranium, lavender, rosemary, reflex stonecrop, scarlet avens, Eastern catmint, etc. The front yard and garden, where we enjoyed coffee, breakfasts, and lunches face a small hillside to the east that frames tall Sitka spruce against the sky. The view to the southeast captures the northern end of Mt. Constitution.We enjoyed our short walk down to the private beach in the mornings took several hikes around Orcas in the afternoon. Absolutely loved our stay in this house. Highly recommend!

Great communication by the host from start to finish, fast to answer questions. The property is well kept, very clean and well located near the water and town. We were in Orcas for our daughters wedding so this was really just a place to sleep so we did not get to take full advantage of the house amenities or the community.

We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The garden in the front yard is beautiful, and the perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the morning, as long as you don't mind sharing the space with hummingbirds and. The nearby beach was great and so easy to access; we had fun checking out the tide pools and doing a little rockhounding. The location of the house made it easy to find and it's central to both sides of the island. The private beach was great for sunset, but even more amazing was North Beach, which is only about a 3 minute drive away. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Spot on Orcas Island!

My family (5 adults) 1 dog stayed here for a long weekend during our first visit to Orcas Island. The location was perfect for exploring different parts of the island and close to stores & restaurants in Eastsound. We loved walking to the private beach area each morning and evening to spot wildlife and enjoy the mountain & sunset views. The property itself was very clean with comfortable beds, ample supplies, and nice personal touches. The outdoor garden was beautiful and my brother's dog loved laying in the fenced in yard. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property and Location!

Highly recommended stay on Orcas Island!This home had every amenity we could ask for...and more! We cooked dinner each night in the well-equipped kitchen, played outdoor games in the spacious backyard, walked often to the nearby neighborhood beach, and made great use of the pickleball court. The house was also very dog-friendly...our little guy especially loved the fully fenced front yard. Kristen, the property manager, was wonderful...her hospitality and communication were top-notch. We stayed for 7 nights and had an amazing vacation on Orcas Island!

This place was lovely and had the coolest little tide pool beach. Make sure to go at low tide. The rec room area was great for our kids and the kitchen was well supplied. Just wish there had been better communication about early check in, as we were told we should be able to and that the host would let us know as soon as the cleaners left but we didn’t get this communication. Otherwise it was perfect!
