We had a wonderful stay at the Baycrest cottage. Very clean home, absolutely lovely with the perfect view on Georgian Bay. Communication with Nathan was excellent in every aspects of our needs.If looking for a quiet little town with all services, rocky shores and a choice of nature trails, Lion's Head is the ideal location for a vacation.

Great cottage, that is well cared for and exceptionally clean. Lots of nice touches like games & books. Location on the water is phenomenal, and the kids say this is now our yearly spot.

The accommodations are clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large windows and outdoor spaces maximize the connection to the lake, creating a calm and rejuvenating atmosphere. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck, taking a kayak out on the water, or gathering around the fire pit in the evening, the experience feels both luxurious and grounding. It’s ideal for couples, families, or small groups who want a balance of modern amenities and natural beauty. Overall, Baycrest: Waterfront Escape lives up to its name—it’s a perfect retreat to escape the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the waterfront. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home. Setting was great and as announced.Home well equipped but with several maintenance issues ( ex. shower door, handle to open main door, kitchen faucet, etc) that I realized, could not be corrected during our short stay-3 nights. I sent a SMS as suggested on voice mail to number listed on the automated emails (Nathan) requesting a phone call with my number to inform the managing service. No phone call came. Only response received was an automated general type email when I was hoping to speak with someone and not have to write this comment.

Two things I think would improve the place is a better stair system down to the lake rather than trying to negotiate those rocks. And have one of the toilets in the cottage a little bit higher than the rest for those who have issues getting up.

Pictures look nicer then what it is

We were unhappy with the overall cleanliness of the house. We did not feel that we got what we paid for. Everything felt "cheap" and dirty. For no AC in the house, the fans should have been removed of the dust buildup, spiderwebs in the corners should not have been there, and the windows and door entrances should have been removed of all dead bugs before we arrived. The towels and bedsheets felt cheap, the carpet going upstairs was so warn down. There was no water for showers - this should have been checked before our arrival on Sunday.
