This was a lovely property for our family getaway! The property is exactly as listed, with close proximity to everything in town, and great amenities on site. Would definitely come back!

This was the perfect location for our two families to come together and make some incredible memories in the most beautiful spot. We walked to dinner every night and the grocery store, with everything you need is just a few blocks away. Be sure to try the Savary Pie Company just down the hill. The bedrooms were unique and beautiful. The two beach rooms were perfect gathering spots. The property itself is showing its age. There are no board games or cards on site, so be sure to pack some. It was four days in a beautiful spot we will never forget!

The host was clear in what her expectations were and gave us all the details of the house! It is such a gorgeous piece of property, perfect for a weekend getaway. We loved the big table in the living room, perfect for boardgames! Thank you again for such a great stay!

Around the corner from the coop market which has most provisions we needed and tucked away in a private lot. The private beach access was very quaint and convenient. The kitchen was nice and spacious and the rooms were all very open and cozy. Communication with our host was on point and replied promptly to our questions. Thank you!

A Magical Stay in A Spectacular Town

Our stay at Maison Tofino was dreamy from the moment we opened the front door. The property housed our group of eight adults beautifully, providing comforting private spaces and inviting spots to gather together. We spent our mornings exploring the private ocean cove at low tide, in awe of the colorful starfish, sea cucumbers and other wonders of nature. The home is close to everything Tofino has to offer and we cannot wait to go back. Bravo, Maison Tofino!

We were a hosting a family reunion which incorporated 11 adults and 4 children for a total of 15. The bedrooms were large, as was the kitchen and recreation room for gathering. A few comments: hopefully constructive - there are no 'common bathrooms' so if you are using the hot tub or sauna and need to use the facilities, you must go back inside to your bedroom or use one of the other bedrooms - perhaps in the future they will install a 2 piece bathroom on the lower level to correct this. The lower level was damp - installing a couple of dehumidifiers would correct this. The hot tub cover must be removed by hand in order to utilize - suggestion would be to install a roller slide tub cover; it was obvious during our stay the cover had been dropped/damaged from prior use. Also trimming the hedge lower would allow guests while using the hot tub a tremendous view over the cove which unfortunately was blocked by vegetation. A small investment in some sand toys for kids to use at low tide would be a nice touch - we brought some with us. During our stay we noticed a strong 'septic' smell by the front door. While undetermined it may well have been the propane tank located near the front entrance. It appears the prop is undergoing some updates - there were a couple of issues with trim and showers not working properly and the exterior is needing some attention. We liked the property, however, the sinks and showers were integrated into the room which was disruptive to whoever was sleeping.One room had dirty sheets and towels left when we arrived. One shower was completely clogged and maintenance came and removed a hair plug. There was no air conditioning or fans which were eventually delivered too late, the night before we left. I wish there was a contact person we could call and not just text. The property location was perfect, however it left a lot to be desired as noted above.

We really enjoyed the private beach, the views out the front, the location, a bathroom in each bedroom, hot tub, the yoga room, big dining room table. It was perfect for our large family gathering (6 adults, 5 kids under 10).
