Check in was super simple, communication was great, the house is very spacious, we had a family of 9 (2 adults, 7 kids) stay and it was plenty of space. The balcony was a huge hit with the older kids, the outdoor space was beautiful. Being able to use the beach wagon, beach toys, beach chairs, and grill was an added bonus. The walk to the beach is short.

Martin, Thank you for being my guest and you left the home in OK shape except you moved the beds (which is not allowed) and did not move them back and I also had to reschedule my cleaning crew. On my contract and correspondence - checkout time is 10 am - and when the crew arrived at 10 am you were just making breakfast and you told them to leave as you were not ready. My cleaning crew left and I had to schedule them for the next day and more money. Pat

This is our 7th year to Destin & this is one of my fav houses so far. It was clean, the beds were comfy & we loved the back patio. Chic Fil A, Winn Dixie & most importantly the beach were all short walks away. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Best Stay Ever!

This is such a nice property! With a very short walk to the beach! It has the perfect amount of space for a small family. Well equipped with nicely though-out supplies for a stay away from home. The outdoor area is so serene! Perfection!

Four Days at the Beach

Easy access to the beach. Great customer service. House was clean and cozy. Very easy to find. Close proximity to outlet mall and numerous restaurants. Overall a 5 star experience!

Sugar Beach Haven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Haven. It was well equipped and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to replace the master bedroom door knob with one that locks. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Absolutely Perfect!

The Rose Cottage was perfect for our annual Mom-daughter- sister-sister Getaway Weekend! The location was better than we had hoped for a couple of days of serious shopping and fun! The house was very roomy for the 6 of us. Everything was clean as could be. It is evident the owner knows those little extras make can change good accommodations into fantastic ones! We plan to visit again soon!

Perfect beach getaway

Such an easy walk to the beach. House was very clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor shower and backyard area was perfect for cleaning up after the beach and having a place to lay all of our beach stuff out. The only complaints we had were very minute. Our code for the front door never worked, but we were quickly able get another code and get into the house. The bed in the master bedroom was also very loud, but probably just needs bolts retightened. Overall we had such an amazing stay and would definitely recommend to others and stay again!

Perfect location and owners!

I had looked at several properties before deciding on this one. Some had good locations, but reading the fine print I wasn't comfortable with the what-ifs. Other's location just made it difficult for us (9 people) to get to the beach as a group. THIS WAS PERFECT! The location can NOT be beat. The owners are VERY quick to respond to any question or reasonable request. The property was clean and worked out great for us. If we ever make it back to Florida (this was our 1st time), I am going to book this place again (if it is available) because I KNOW it will be a no hassle no ordeal perfect vacation spot. It made the trip so manageable and enjoyable! Thank you to the owners! Side note, 3 adults and 7 kids ranging from 9-16 yrs old with no mobility issues (stairs).

Family Vacation

Our family takes a vacation together every other year. It is my husband, our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. This home was more than accommodating for the 10 of us. We had plenty of room, the kitchen is fully stocked, you only need your groceries. Everything is up to date and very well maintained. The A/C unit kept the house at the perfect 72 degrees and none of us got hot. I don’t know about you but that is huge for a large family and to know the owner made sure the unit size was big enough to more than cool the house and didn’t have to work overtime in the heat was a huge PLUS. The location of this rental is the best ever. The proximity to the beach was perfect for us. The walk is 2 minutes or less (especially if you running to keep up with the littles that are excited about the beach). They had a buggy cart for easy carry down to the beach and even have some things you might be able to use, like extra chairs, toys for the littles, etc.The hostess checked on us to make sure everything was perfect when we arrived and to make sure we didn’t need anything. You cannot go wrong with rental. If you decide to utilize this house for your family vacation, I can only hope you enjoy it as much as my family did.

AMAZING!!

This place was nothing short of amazing. Perfect location close to the beach access (walking distance) and within a quiet, safe neighborhood of the area. We really enjoyed the backyard and patio (our favorite place to sit and visit with one another). The kitchen was fully stocked along with essentials for the laundry room and bathrooms. We couldn’t have been more pleased with this house. We will definitely be back!

Fun week at Sugar Beach

We had a great time at SBH, our first time staying in Miramar, typically we say in Destin. The house was as described and walk to the private beach is a short one. Plenty of shops, food options and stores within walking distance. The only real issue we had was the lack of pantry space for cooking meals throughout the week.

AMAZING STAY!!

As someone from the gulf coast, I have extremely high expectations for a beach stay! THIS CHECKED ALL THE BOXES! It has a very convenient location to all of the things you love (including the beach and Waffle House 😂)! The shopping center is in walking distance, as is everything else you could possibly need! The host were amazing and even checked in after I left to ensure we enjoyed our stay! I am already planning another stay next year!

Amazing Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. It was our first vacation in 4 years. We absolutely loved this house. It had everything we needed and was very clean. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach. It was close to the outlets and grocery stores. The beds were very comfortable. My kiddos loved that they had beach toys, floats, and chairs available to use. If you enjoy cooking the kitchen is full of everything you would need. We felt safe the whole week and had the best vacation!
