Modern A-Frame near many wineries and activities: fire pit, King beds, & more!

Welcome to your dream getaway in the heart of Finger Lakes! Our brand new A-frame house has just completed construction here in 2024. This home has been a major passion project of ours for years. We're so excited to FINALLY be able to welcome you and your friends and family to come visit A-frame.

This open and airy home is just minutes away from many renowned wineries, breweries, and countless outdoor activities. It's literally the perfect location!

Our goal was to make the @ FLXAframe a blend of style and comfort. We designed the home to be modern, light, and airy; but still cozy and comfy while you hang out with your friends & family.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, and one bedroom on the second floor.
* Downstairs, the bedroom on the left has one spacious king bed with a brand new hybrid style mattress (part memory foam and part individual springs).
* The bedroom on the right has two twin XL beds, perfect for the kids or friends. The mattresses are brand new memory foam to help you sleep like a dream there.
* Upstairs, the huge main bedroom has a king bed with another brand new memory foam mattress t help you sleep like a dream up there too. Attached to this room is our biggest labor of love - a custom-built Juliet balcony with a pair of 9 foot tall geometric French doors that Dustin designed for the home!
Each bedroom has a full size mirror, and a good amount of storage options. No cramped bedrooms here.

The A-frame has 2 full bathrooms as well, one on each floor. They are each equipped with a tiled walk-in shower, rainfall shower head, and a vanity with storage space. The showers are stocked with shampoo + conditioner + body wash. Each bathroom also has a hair dryer so you have more space available to pack in your bag/suitcase. :)

Our fully equipped kitchen will hopefully make vacation cooking a breeze. The kitchen is complete with all the coffee essentials: a brand new coffee machine that can brew a whole pot for the group OR a single cup as well (it won't take a k-cup, but you could empty out the grounds of a k-cup to brew if you wanted). There are lots of spices and olive oil, a large toaster, and an air fryer. (And please feel free to let Lauren know how much you appreciate that as her husband thinks she's crazy and people don't need all this stuff!)

We are also dog-friendly! Guests may bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs per stay, with a $100 pet fee. You'll find doggie bowls in a kitchen cabinet as well. Dogs are not to be left alone in the home unless in a crate. PLEASE NOTE: we do not have a fenced yard. Our neighborhood is definitely dog-friendly, and lots of our neighbors have doggos!

We are VERY close to Lake Seneca, but please note that we do NOT have direct lake access. You absolutely may not trespass on our neighbor's private space in order to use their direct lake access. However, we ARE just a short drive away from Watkins Glen Beach Park and Recreation Center. It's large, public, and super cute and family friendly. There are areas to picnic, swim, dock a boat, kayak, etc.

NATURE AND BUGS
Please note: The biggest reason we fell in love with this land is its location. Our beautiful house is located VERY close to a large lake. It is surrounded by a fairly rural WOODED area. You will likely see spiders, water bugs, beetles, etc. Of course we do have regular (and environmentally friendly) pest control. This is just par for the course in this kind of location. If this kind of thing (understandably!) bothers you, this is likely NOT the rental for you! We cannot give any refunds if you find a bug in our beautiful wooded, lakeside rental.

The whole house is yours, except for the basement! As of September 2024, the basement has not been finished yet. So we will have the basement (and an unfinished bedroom!) locked up and blocked for guest use. We're so sorry that space isn't ready yet, but we promise it'll be worth the wait!
